I just find the random resurgance of ryder love very fanboy train and obnoxious. From the time of his burial by the trio of Kane/Cena/Rosa Mendez (or whoever the fuck it was) up until about a month ago, literally NO ONE cared about him until his WM “moment”. Which honestly that wasn’t even built up as a moment until commentary was trying to shove it down the audiences throat.
The most utterance about him was every groaning at him and Mojo being teamed together than slowly coming around when they actually played well off eachother but still found them insufferable over all.

no reason not to be. a spring and late summer program involving 3 talents female wrestlers* (grain of salt for charlotte. she’s good but refuses to sell for some reason) with THE BOSS getting the title at one of the big 4? Totes OK with it. Summerslam wins can mean more than WM wins when they’re booked right.

I like that Women’s title idea, gives Natalya, who is an awesome worker in her own right, some PPV matches against the up and comer before Sasha comes back with the Thunder.
They’re going to try and get a repeat of the excellent NXT Title Charlotte vs Natalya match. Not enough people saw it because it was the real early days of NXT, but it was an outstanding match.
So apparently during the Shane vs. Vince match at WM17 the original plan was to have the WCW roster that were in attendance get involved…that is until Stasiak spoiled that angle on a radio show a few days prior.
Would something like this have made a difference today with how social media has become commonplace?
God I hope they don’t do wrong with Rusev and continue to push Del Rio and Sheamus over him. WWE needs more credible singles heels, right now there’s Owens, Jericho and Corbin (who just started) and that’s about it. Rusev has shown that he’s a great promo, he can go in the ring and he looks like a beast, get that man a spot as a heel main eventer.
Charlotte’s been solid as of late and she gels brilliantly with Nattie. Should be a solid feud, albeit a predictable one.

10000x this and I’d agree. It seems like this is possibly true, too, since the Rusev hasn’t taken as many pins/looked as bad as Sheamus/Barrett/Del Rio.
Rusev and Lana need to reunite and he needs to target the IC (or US) Championship. Personally, I would rather see him go after the IC Title for 2 reasons. One, if Cesaro wins it from The Miz, that would be a seriously great feud that we haven’t seen at all. Cesaro and Rusev is money. Orrr…if the Miz retains the IC Title, could you imagine the promos between The Miz and Maryse and Lana and Rusev?
