Saw it with my friends.
We keep randomly saying “Turbo-Tastic!”, “Well milk my duds!”, and “You’re a dynamite gal”(my favorite) now.
I think I laughed the most at the “You’re a dynamite gal” flashback sequence, and the “You wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses” thing.
Good movie, kind of odd though.
Still hasn’t been a recent 3D animated movie to top Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs yet IMO.

The comedy in that movie reminded me of the good stuff from the 90’s - early 2000’s
Stupid funny with jokes/visual gags that range from obvious and corny to subtle and lingering, like Freakazoid or Animaniacs. I’m probably the only one who thinks that though.

Saw it again, and yup, confirmed this part. Honda portrait on the upper right part of the Tappers bar (the part where Ralph is talking to the Markowski soldier). SF2 cab and sprites are in the opening scene as well.
One of the racers is named Minty Zaki, and now I’m remembering that all-green Zaki color for Project Justice.
Minty Zaki… sounds more like a play on words for Miyazaki, the Mononoke director dude that critics always seem to like. I’d be curious to see the rest of the racer girl names, most seemed just silly but maybe the rest are hints at things.
Good but not great, if they used all villians from the beginning it would have been better. Or at least hopped more games.
There was also a taboo-ish/funky relationship between Ralph and the little girl that seemed borderline pedophile to me.
…how? I pretty much saw it as a Shrek and Donkey style relationship. I’ve seen more hints of something sexual going on on an episode of spongebob.
I kind of thought that as well at some points.
They couldn’t have hopped more games, at least not many - Vanellope is a primary character and (mild spoilers)

Because she’s a glitch, she can’t leave Sugar Rush.
Which is why so much of the movie takes place in Sugar Rush.
at first i went in thinking ok game cameos whatever ,but it was really a great movie great characters.
it’s pathos levels were off the charts at least for me. this movie had made me shed a tear or…three as opposed to when i watched toy story 3. maybe it was because how i felt a strong connection to the way they accurately represented the videogame culture.

i would’ve had a better experience with this movie if it hadn’t been for a douchebag sitting behind me inappropriately clapping throughout the movie as well as repeating the punch line to a joke after it had been said then proceeding to laugh in a very loud and annoying manner.

I saw it, I enjoyed it… not too much to say that hasn’t been said I don’t think.
Also, I liked the 2d animation that played before the film with the guy with the paper. Not sure if that was just at the place I watched it though, it was like a 2 minute short right before the movie and was apparently also Disney so I’m sort of thinking they come together.
The short before the movie is 100% cg.
The Paperman short was great. I don’t know if the characters looking like Jim and Pam from the Office was coincidence or not though.
Wreck It was enjoyable. I wish Dig Dug would’ve been in it.

Saw the movie yesterday and I would gladly watch it again. While it wasn’t a “great” movie, I found it highly entertaining and not a waste of life.
Movie was great. I’d see it again! There had to be game references I didn’t catch the first time around.
It’s been discussed before, but this shit still blows the fuck out of me.
Skrillex is not a video game character. Why the fuck was he in this movie?
