Worst Video Game you've ever played, shit we wished we could forget

heh, I remember playing BioFreaks on Playstation. Fortunately I never spent money on it… I played it at a friend’s house. I’m one of few people that thought that game had potential though… the concept at least was alright, imo…the execution of it all just wasn’t good though, and perhaps more importantly… the control was sloppy.

*I still have Shaq-Fu on SNES. I bought it one day in the later 90s for about 2 bucks…the game was at least a “funny” kind of bad.

“Kether” for CD-i. Yep, I actually had that system and that game. I’m still not even sure how that game was to be played…it was a strange mix of a shooter and puzzle game, if I recall… it’s been years since I’ve even seen it, so here we go:

I remember not getting very far in that game, and I didn’t care to continue playing. See, one of the many stupid, miserable things about CD-i and it’s games was that there was no rental, and that makes sense because the shit definitely wasn’t popular. Blockbuster wasn’t about to waste its time and shelf space with CDi games…so for the 5 or so of us in the world that owned it (in shame), you couldn’t really tell what was good…you’d just buy a game and hope for the best, really. Keep in mind this was also long before everyone and their momma had internet access, and before things like youtube even existed, so your “research” on a future game purchase was whatever gaming magazine info you could find, along with the pictures and info on the back of the box itself.
*ah, and he reminded me in this video of yet another thing I hated about it… the controls are inverted, and there is no option to change that. It’s like the developers set out to make this as terrible and “not fun” as possible.

sf4, mk9 and marvel3 /thread

nao have you played this piece of shit?

WWF: The Arcade Game and Primal Rage, both for the SNES, were probablly the worst games I’ve ever spent money/a gift on.

EDIT: …and before people get all pissy with me, I’m talking about the SNES port of Primal Rage specifically; I liked the game in the arcade, but the technological limitations of the SNES and Nintendo’s censoring made the SNES home version a pale shadow.

Shadowman for the N64.
This game called STAKE on the xbox.
Aaaand, I’ll throw kof94 up there, I did NOT like that game one bit. I felt like SNK went backwards in terms of graphics because Fatal Fury looked way better than that shit and felt more fluid.

Big Rigs Over the Road Racing.
I’ll just let this explain why for me.

OH FUCK NO, I WAS ABOUT TO MENTION THAT UTTER HUNK OF JUNK.

That was actually the first game I ever played on my Sega Megadrive, I’m so fucking grateful I hired The Jungle Book at the same time or I might not have become a gamer.

“Although the packaging of Big Rigs states that the main objective of the game is to race their Big Rig to safety in order to deliver illegal cargo being carried by the vessel, while avoiding the local police force, in actuality, there are no police in the game, and no such objectives are presented within the game itself.”

Blasto for the PS1 will forever be the worst game in my mind because it was the first game I ever bought with my own money when I was like 11 and ended up feelin like a chump it was so bad.

I actually own a few bad Xbox games I bought cheap because they are bad for hilarity sake I guess. Games like Fight Club, WWE Raw, Robocop, etc.

The PC versions of SFII.

I think I still have the PC version of ST laying around here somewhere.

Lost Planet 1. Shit traumatized me. Nuff Said.

I’m a big Suda 51 fan…but Shadows of the Damned was really disappointing. Like, I sold it after seeing the ending combined with every thing I put up with before hand. I didn’t like most of the things about it. I made an honest effort to like it, and I did like one aspect. Garcia and Johnson were awesome, but that’s about it. :frowning:

I didn’t like Enslaved at all. I’ve never experienced so many game breaking bugs in my life. I also didn’t care for/about the story or characters or any of the art design. I compare this experience to watching Elektra, the movie.

Mortal Kombat…Shoalin Monks. I bought this game when I was a kid. After I played it, I wished that I could get full refunds for games.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. It’s not much of a stretch for me when I say it’s literally the worst fighting game I’ve ever played. The one thing I liked was Spider-Man’s quotes, until they got repetitive. Oh, and the story was terribad too. I’d compare this experience to watching Ghost Rider the movie.

If I remember any more, I’ll come back.

got it for xmas the year it came out.
played like 3 fights
took it out the gamecube, spit on it, put it back in the case, and never again.

He-man for the GBA. I wanted the game to be good, but it was absolutely horrible.

Maybe the worst gift when i was a kid:

Batman forever. It was AWFUL.

final fantasy 13

It’s seriously a dead heat between Final Fantasy 11 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The former for being a forced-grouping mega-grind more akin to a second job than an actual game.

The latter for having truly earned not even a fraction of its praise and adding tripping, the dumbest, most “anti-gaming” mechanic ever conceived.

Final Fantasy 11 lol, i remember installing that for 3 hours, jumped on, asked my friend how I joined up with him to play, and he told me I’d have to go kill rabbits for 12 hours or some shit. I was deleting the game as he was giving me the details…

The 3D Bionic Commando for 360/PS3. Gave out checkpoints about every 40 minutes. You accidentally swing out of bounds and radiation kills you in seconds. Fall in water, you drown in 5 seconds. And it has possibly the dumbest ending reveal I’ve seen in while, and for a videogame that’s saying alot.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Sloppy Ninja Gaiden Black seconds. Having to play as Rachel stops me from putting the game in everytime, I’d rather play Black on my 360 and have my data corrupted with an update again than play as Rachel in Sigma.

Shadow the Hedgehog. What a ripoff.

for the love of god, and for your sake do not fucking play the Brainies on snes, you will want to kill your self after playing the fucking crock of shit

Sonic 06 has popped up quite a few times, but this one is probably the next best(or worst) game I’ve played.
