When I was little, I got “THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN” on gameboy for Christmas, I was so excited to play it, but when I did. The shit made me cry.
Damn. You might just have something there. It’s so awful that I had to look it up. Even now I still don’t know anything about it, but Magnavox made it?
That’s like letting a 5-year old drive you to work and wonder why you didn’t make it on time.

The worst part about that game is that it was a 2 year old port of a PS1 game
I played it on Genesis first, then tried it in Arcade. Both versions were fun to me ┌(▼▼メ)┘
I was specifically referring to the SNES version. I loved it in the arcades - hell, I still kinda wanna get a cabinet of it.
you guys suck. as a kid i played the shit out of every game i had. even the shitty ones. and ya know what? i enjoyed the fuck out of all of them.
Philips and Magnavox made different models of the CD-i, all of them garbage. The console had a lot of worthless games(unless you love old FMV games like Dragon’s Lair), but the most notorious are the Zelda and Mario titles that spawned from a negated deal between Nintendo and Philips. The Zelda games are particularly singled out for a billion reasons in gameplay, but this video will explain the infamy way better than I ever could:

I haven’t played many bad games because I tend to avoid them but some that come to mind are Mario is Missing and Mario’s time machine when I was a kid I thought that they would be awesome, I mean a game with Luigi as the main character and another one about time travel? What could posibly go wrong? sadly I soon realized that answer was Everything
Another bad game I have played is Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon. I love megaman and I loved Battle Network series but I couldn’t like this pos with boring, repetitive gameplay, generic villians, a really stupid plot that wasn’t relevant to 90% of the game, game breaking bugs (You mean I can only play the game I bought in a vanilla GBA? Go to hell woodman) among other things.
Do not seek to belittle me with your luck!!! You too will play games that will suck!!! It is a fate that falls upon man, So says the Demon Etrigan.
…Whoa. The hell all that came from? I ain’t even drunk!! I better get to the fap-mobile!!!

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West - I could only get through one playthrough and even with that I found myself falling asleep through parts of it. After finishing it, I sent it right back.
All of those Tiger handheld games I ever played sucked monkey taint. Brutal disappointments, all of them.
It’s really hard to think of one off the top of my head, mostly cause I have a bad habit of ignoring bad things. That being said, I actually tried to play Total Recall for the NES once. Never again. That game is unplayable. In fact, a lot of NES games qualify. Too many to list.
Red Sun and Blue Moon are probably my least favorite in the series, right next to #1.
I used to play the shit out of every shitty game I had when I was a kid, too. I did beat Rise of the Robots, Justice League Task Force (with every character), Tom & Jerry on SNES (a shitty game I forgot to mention in my original post) and several other crap-tier games.
That was mainly because games were expensive as fuck and my Blockbuster/Movie Gallery/etc. kept very low stocks on video games - so I had to get as much out of them as possible. Nowadays, though, if I buy a shitty game, I just don’t play it again. Why force myself to play something I hate? Marginal Utility and that shit.
So, I’m guessing no one has ever played this little masterpiece?

Brave fencer Musashi was good. But the only good thing about the ps2 game was its opening. NOTHING else was good about it.
Which is why I was appalled by it. So many fond memories of the PS1 classic… ruined by this abomination of a game.
It’s bad that I have everything down to the hand motions memorized. For anyone who hasn’t seen these cutscenes, be enlightened:

The Hotel mario scenes are great too, but some of them are spread out over YT and they’re not linked in the description.
Also, I think this is my signal to shed my Chinese New Year avatars and don my favorite senile old wizard once again…
I use to play the arcade version. I use to LOVE this game. The SNES version kinda sucked.
Never played the SNES version, but I have a friend who has the dedicated arcade cabinet.
I played it. I didn’t think it was bad. Nothing special, but if you like Technos games (Double Dragon, for example) then this game was a good time killer.
I find it hard to think of a beat 'em up that I’d actually place in a topic like this. It’s so hard to fuck up that genre. Even The Simpsons, as simple and repetitive as it was, still managed to be loads of fun.
Oh wait - right, someone already mentioned the worst beat 'em up: that Turtles In Time remake. The demo was enough for me to figure out that that game was unplayable.
That game wasen’t bad it just had no replay value to it
