Worst (Tiers) Character in a Fighting Game?

Sean is top tier in 2nd Impact.

Q at least has a few things going for him with his command grab and rush punches. Twelve does bad damage, has bad health, a disjointed parry animation that makes parrying harder, can’t parry during one of his primary movement techniques (air dash) and in a lot of cases has rubbish normals.

Also there is a character with armour and decent movement who fits the grappler category you’re missing that I referenced

If Twelve had a move that killed him on hit/block/whiff, it would still be fair because he’s Twelve.

Play twelve for a long period of time and you’ll see how much of an annoying faggot that character is.

Which is true in a way when you consider how important super art choice are meter are in 3rd Strike. The best characters in 3S have super arts that both, do damage and provide utility. That alone means that Twelve would never been high tier.

Judging by the comments here, the fighting games in Hell force you to play a Twelve mirror match. FOREVER.

Twelve players deserve each other

Why do people hate Twelve? Because 3S isn’t a trolly fuckfest, unlike some other fighting games… So putting a troll character in it makes it a bad game…

Ignoring that he exists, and moving on, 3S is absolutely perfect. It’s a diamond in a pile of coal. It’s perfection, beautiful, magical, and a flying pegasus. Twelve can suck a dick.

That said, on 3S and talking about balance… If Chun had a smaller window to hit confirm (literally half the length) c.mk xx super and her b+hp had a smaller hitbox, take the super property out of Genai Jin (And NOT Yang’s), Give Sean some better, more shoto-like normals and his SI uppercut, and make Hugo and Alex’s walkspeeds slightly higher… the game would be as balanced as you could make it without ruining it for players… Except d3v and me because we <3’s that b+hp xx super to expose scrubs with.

I’m actually beginning to kind of like 12… He’s kind of fun. Insta-air SA2 after throw bait is mad sexy.

The hitbox for b+hp is far too big… Alex already has fine mobility. His dash makes up for his walk speed.

IMO, a better fix for Chun would be to not touch her at all, decrease the active frames of b+hp and/or increase the recovery.

Changing the hitbox wouldn’t do that much considering that it’s a fierce punch and it still has priority over non-fierce attacks regardless of hitbox.

You could also increase her hurtbox so it trades more, rather than stuff everything in existence.

Not being an Alex player, I’m going to assume you’re right. Hugo definitely needs something to be mobile though.
Alex needs something that makes him stand out from being a weaker Makoto… I mean, essentially everything Alex can do, Makoto does it better.

It’s a shame that most of the cool sub-mechanics were given to the joke characters, most of which could’ve been easily viable if they weren’t given dumb restrictions and/or really shitty health/damage/normals.
