Don’t diss on SF:The Movie. the problem with digitizing people to do moves in SF is just how goofy looking a lot of the shit they do in the game. Most of the poses that you see in the game, humans shouldn’t really do. Crap, 99.99999999999% of the crap that happens in anime is an epileptic donkey scrotum trying to pee inside a water balloon; it simply does not work when humans do it.
For good examples of this watch any japanese movie that has the actors strike poses and crap like in animes like Attack swim team vs the undead or Machine girl (although this movie manages to overcome a lot of its nonsense and enter the realm of awesome); the other one has an incestuous lesbian scene. You decided which one to go with.
I thought shaq fu was alright back in the day 
the animation was very fluid, the stages looked cool, the music was interesing. I loved that mage looking guy, cant remember his name
rise of the robots is pretty much king of worst fighting games, there maybe more though. yeah best of the best was pretty bad too
wow just looked at the genesis version, the sound is horrible. the snes version of shaq fu had really good sound
Animation was fluid? What? The worst was the jumping, one jump and you’re all the way across the stage, like you’re in zero gravity.
im talk the fluidity of the frames not where people end up when they jump, yeah the jumping animation seemed rushed but the actual grounded movements was better than any other fighting game on the snes. even better than alpha 2 and that came out when snes was a zombie

You guys crazy. Shaq Fu is the best fighter game ever. In fact, it is the best game of all time.
The best part about that game is that they didn’t have enough memory for all the frames of animation required for the special moves so fireballs were thrown with normal kicks and punches

I agree with him, moves felt SO damn slow in that port. Compared to the GG version, which was slightly better, GB MK failed on so many levels.
It doesn’t matter, I’m convinced MK advance has them both beat. I think that game is fucking unplayable.
I’m so glad Rise of the Robots gets top billing on the worst fighting game thread, that game is so bad it literally pisses me off. Shaq Fu is bad, but at least it was fun for a little while when you were a kid. I mean it had Shaq when that meant something and the characters were at least a little interesting. Best of the Best wasn’t the worst game ever, anyways it’s a kickboxing game not a fighting game. Rise of the Robots is total shit. All the characters are generic, the moves are shit, the AI is laughable, the controls are garbage, the physics are retarded, it just sucks all over. I remember getting mad at how terrible Rise of the Robots was even 15 years ago.
