I admit it, I came to this thread to post the running Cycloid and Rock endings…
And now, I can’t get that cheery EX theme out of my head. I nominate Survival Arts (who introduced me to this crap? Million?), channelling the spirit of Mutoid Man.

Not really. I’d rather 3 generic endings (CVS1) than the same damn ending in MVC2. Also CVS2 had multiple “generic” endings (whether or not you score high enough the fight the bosses or to fight them in their TRUE form ala Shin Akuma and Ult. Rugal.) Also when you beat Ult Rugal and Shin Akuma. a text ending pos up and says what happens to all the characters you were using. Not the best but its something. 
Thats not a bad eding. It was pretty epic.

Iceman Xmen COTA. pretty much the same as the ending Pizza cat posted… somewhat endless loop.

Kain’s Garou MOTW… VERY incomplete. Hell I dont even know what went on after the picture of the flames in his hand. That crap dissappointed me when I ended the game with him. Also dont know why grant got a senseible ending while Kain only got a 5 second ending.

I said Fighting game endings, Shaq Fu isn’t even a real game, let alone a fighting game. The video in the link is definately fake…

Most of the Capcom endings in that game were homages to older Capcom games…Strider’s ending was the same as in his original game (which was spoofed by Spanky the Dolphin in one of the Aero Fighters) and Captain Commando’s ending was mostly the same (with the Avenger’s HQ taking place of Metro City Hall).
MvC1 DID have some really crap-ass endings though like War Machine and Shadow Lady.
Anyone played Toshinden for Gameboy? Suprisingly good fighting game for a GB game. Anyway… I still remember to this day(I was quite young when GB was current gen, obviously) the weird ending for Duke:

Also, whoever said Soul Blade had bad endings are clearly wrong… I remember liking them a lot. Mitsurugis ending even had a part where you played the game from first person!
