I’m so mixed on BBA Mega Man.

I mean, I got the joke, and (as a Mega Man fan), I didn’t take it as (much of) a middle finger to Inafune and the fans, but I also feel like if you’re going to go to all the trouble of modeling and coding a new character from scratch, why not give what most of the fans would want (Classic, X or Volnutt).

I believe it was one of Inafune’s last requests to Ono (who I believe got his start from Inafune or something) which is why they used him.

Yeah, I remember seeing that tweet. It dispelled most of the rage that I had when I first saw it (seening as it wasn’t just to wave dicks at the series creator).

BBA Mega Man would have definetly gone down better without the whole MML3 cancellation/Mega Man not in UMVC3 debacle though.

I think instead of Capcom doing any sort of dick waving, it was Inafune’s last joke before leaving Capcom for good. I think he chose that one specifically because he knew people would be mad at it and it would make people like SFxT less. Maybe I’m completely wrong and Inafune isn’t that spiteful, but that’s how it seemed to me.

Oh dear GAWD yes! I actually remember seeing him in Tekken 6 for the first time and thinking he was some Naruto reject just made to fill out the roster.

And Spawn being included with Heihachi in the Re-Release…must have for me!
