World Heroes Perfect: Join #srksnk on efnet! Frame Data for almost half the cast!

Free money is always a good thing. Hopefully I can g to World. If not, I’m hoping to go to North and East.

Free money?

What a riot.

Keep your money, I’ll consider it charity.

Bitch please.:bluu:

So which one you gonna be at? I’ll try and make it out… to whoop yo azz!:annoy:

I’ll be at East and World.

Charity can be noted on tax returns right?

I hope so.

Come to FRXI, Luigi. Bet 100 like i did vs Josh.

And don’t let the fact that you lost 5 straight to my girlfriend’s Jack get in your head, okay?

Too broke for FRXI, it’s too close. And $100 is crazy for WHP, especially seeing as how you got RAPED.

I got raped cause I choked. I blame no one but myself.

All NEC8 WHP footage is up-you must go through the links though…

Please read everyone that it applies to.

Your attitude is so terrible, Lukas… :-/

Thanks a lot for all the great WHP info in this thread! I’ve always been a bit of a World Heroes fan since WH2 on the SNES, but after spending some serious time with WHP this weekend (via World Heroes Gorgeous) I agree that it is a hugely underappreciated fighter, and nothing like the other games in the series. This game deserves a bigger following.

I realize this is a bit off-topic, but as a way of giving back, here’s the tier list from my Japanese WH2 Gamest guide (obviously WH2 is a MUCH different game than WHP):

  1. Janne (86 pts)
  2. Captain Kidd (75 pts)
  3. Kim Dragon (71 pts)
  4. Erick (68 pts)
  5. Mudman (68 pts)
  6. Hanzo (67 pts)
  7. Fuuma (66 pts)
  8. J. MAX (63 pts)
  9. J. Carn (63 pts)
  10. Ryoko (63 pts)
  11. Shura (60 pts)
  12. Rasputin (60 pts)
  13. Brocken (59 pts)
  14. Muscle Power (41 pts)

All we can do is keep posting match vids and hyping this game to everyone.

Glad to hear you enjoy it! The problem is that a lot of the game’s depth is well-hidden and went unnoticed in America for a long time. It wasn’t until someone uploaded clips from the Gamest tape to Youtube that we learned about this stuff.

Very interesting! Some of the old Gamest tiers were pretty wack, and I think this has some issues. Fuuma & Dragon are on a whole other level thanks to their jab infinites…but even if you ban those, then the ninjas are still probably the best thanks to double-jumping. Kidd & Dragon are great, I agree, and I could see Erick’s ranking. I guess this isn’t that bad actually - thanks for posting! =)

Bump for World Heroes Collection!

MWC WHP tourney will be awesome. keits, josh, DG, me, and others all fighting for first… should be fun! :stuck_out_tongue:

Wish I could be there >_>

Should be good.

come hackensack!!! YOU CAN DO IT!

man, I kinda wanna pick this up. This is the only World Heroes game that completely passed my local arcades by and it looks dope.

You have no idea. ADK was on its A-game during this period (see also: Twinkle Star Sprites), and basically created an entirely new engine for Perfect. This was the first game I know of to use jump cancels (well, COTA had launchers, but these are the Guilty Gear style) and autoguard moves, among many other things. Some matchups play out like SF2 (i.e. a bunch of Muscle Power’s), while something like Hanzou vs. Kidd features double-jumping, constant rushdown, infinites, etc.

The most important bit of brilliance in this one was giving every character an invincible backdash (again, predating Guilty Gear!). Without it, the game would be pretty terrible - a lot of offense is already strong even with it!
