None of my local gamestops even know what this is heh.
That is the problem I have everytime a new SNK games comes out. If it isn’t the wii or Guitar Heroes they don’t know shit.
Honestly I’m not a big fan of the game; a little too cartoony for me. But I’ll probably get it anyway just to support SNK 
they never do.
i asked for battle coliseum, kof xi , and battle archives when they were shipped out and they didnt know what any of them were.
and i went to gamestop today and i got the same response as usual
I’m a little worried that these games won’t have aged very well, but I’ve never played Perfect. Played all the others though and liked the goofy feel the games had. The package is so cheap I might pick it up though… especially since it sounds like Perfect is rather good.
Does this game have a 480p mode?
Is there a music listen mode in the options?
Not sure if there’s a 480p mode.
There are arranged and original soundtracks available for each game, and I’m pretty sure there’s a listen mode to accompany it, although I’m not 100% on this.
In addition there is a practice mode for each game, as well as color edit mode and skill lists for each character (still basing my experience off the import BTW, my local copy hasn’t arrived yet).
Im playing it through S-video and looks great. Im also still playing the import =)
I just received my copy of WHA from Amazon, and was looking at the back of the package… Has anyone played WHP’s mini-mode? :lol:

I wish they would have kept the Death Match Modes in Jet and Perfect! :sad:
I didn’t even know there was a mini-mode in WHP, I’ll have to check that out.
Death matches were alright (better than line switching in Fatal Fury!), but I don’t miss them in Jet or Perfect. Especially not in Perfect, which seems like an entirely new direction for the series. My only complaint about Perfect is that I actually prefer some of the earlier background stages in the series, not that it breaks the game or anything.
BTW, I’m also playing the import on a standard TV via S-Video. Looks pretty awesome to me.
To anybody who has the American version: what store did you buy it from?

I’ve haven’t found anywhere in So Cal that has it in stock, lots of reports of it showing up on the East Coast though. Amazon orders have been received as well. I preordered a couple of weeks ago and the store I preordered from still doesn’t even know the game exists. And it’s not even in the Gamestop database, probably because it’s not Brawl or an Xbox 360 FPS.
I mean, I do realize it’s a niche title and all, but you’d think these dedicated game retailers would at least be somewhat up on their shit.
the guy at gamestop showed me the computer and showed me that it wasnt on file as i expected. but it was good to see that arcana was on the database, at least they have a fighter on there file thats not dbz or somethin like that
They have bunches and bunches of them at the PlayStation store in SF. Went there for the first time today, picked up a PS3 memory card reader
I ordered my copy from SuperDuperClub.com last Thursday, got my copy of the game today, US$13 + shipping.
Yeah thats true to tell you the truth…but for some reason I’ve been getting lucky getting them off the shelves here and there. I found KOF XI by accident. Also KOF: Evo on Dreamcast, Garou:MotW, those KOF combo packages, etc. I think its better to actually look for them than to ask those guys at the register cuz 9 times out of 1o they don’t know shit.
Also do the online thing as well, cuz most likely they always have it! Thats where I get most of my games nowadays…I don’t even bother with the gamestops anymore
i remembered buying kof xi and the clerk at gamestop was like “thats a good game” and i said “so who do you use?” and he couldn’t come up with anyone, i was like damn son. i wasnt trying to be an asshole or anything, i was just trying to meet a possibly new player and he proved me wrong lol
