Everything boils down to editing so yes. You can completely change the theme and the mood of virtually any movie just with editing the scenes alone.

Fun? Ever read Barry Windsor-Smith?s Weapon X? Or Frank Miller’s Wolverine series? All of the old classics including stuff that Chris Claremont is responsible for is referenced in the trailer. These three are basically the foundation of Logan’s fictional character. :lovin:
The original stories were fun to a degree, but they had some depressing or dramatic aspects to it. I don’t understand why everyone would think the movie is turning them into emo Gothic characters. 
On a related note some of Joe Kelly’s Deadpool run was depressing and dramatic. Remember all of that T-Ray story line? Is he Wilson? Is he Jack? OhEmmGee! :rolleyes: I’m not hating on Pool, I’m just referencing the Mithras story arc.
I know about those series and they were dark. When I said fun, I meant I didn’t imagine them going that dark and them just doing it like a summer blockbuster. Which I think thats what it will be. Prolly the same effect of Transformers or Iron Man. I don’t think it’ll be anything like a Dark Knight.

Who knows if Benoit could act, but he was Canadian with a similar height/build, hell even his name was “the Rabid Wolverine”. And we all know he can kill people M I RITE?

Benoit can’t act. It would be like having Tyler Mane play Wolverine. He barely had any lines, but his Sabretooth was crap, just from the acting alone. Except for the height and build, always gotta have an actor for a major comic/game role. A godsend would be an actor WITH the height/build/physique.

I think Hugh Jackman made a great Wolverine, except for his height and the too much emo they gave his character, especially in X2. When Jean died, he was more distraught than Cyclops it seemed, yet Jean had been much longer with Cyclops. They really killed Cyclops’ character in all the Xmen movies. Other than that, Jackman has the acting and the look of Logan down. Love that scowl. LOL
I really would have liked someone like Gerard Butler from 300 to play Sabretooth in this movie, someone who has the acting, build and the height to match Jackman’s, rather than Liev Schreiber who actually looks shorter and skinnier than Jackman. And CG his hair blonde or something please, that really doesn’t look like Creed. Other than that, I’m loving everything else about Origins, just hope it’s really dark and gruesome. Heh heh

Definitely just the cinematics. That said, Raven Software makes lots of solid games, and they’ve been working on this game for well over a year now. That, plus the promise that the retro costumes being unlockable(C’mon classic brown and yellow!) makes me actually look forward to TWO comic book games this year(Wolvie and Arkham)…I don’t think thats ever happen before.
I haven’t played a video game in years.
This will be the first video game I pick up in a long time.
where is the promise of retro costumes (retro costumes have been done in 3-d …but not this good and with the jackman face behind it.) i will definitely pick this up if it has the costumes others than that lame leather jacket.

got to see a trailer at comic con today for the new game. had some action but no real “in game menu system”… just cool cinematic angles. im skeptical bc i love this wolverine guy so much
THEN the guy holding the event worknig for NY CC put the activison guy on the spot and even got him to show us that rumored sentinel fight…except it kept glitching and we onyl saw the first few seconds of the intro for the fight. i want to see how it will play when YOU play it and not the cinematic takes that show it off way too well.
