on the serious, if j1n and I go, and we have 4 in the car already, there is zero chance of us picking up a 5th passenger for the remaining 6 hours of that drive. To chicago, maybe. To C-bus, no way.
Green Bay has 7 traveling players now. Chances of you riding with our groups is slim. But I’ll let you know.
Damn wisconsin threads are gonna take a whole lot longer to get to 1000
Nappy yo man I am willing to drive all you guys to SB4. I can’t really see me going with anyone else at this point. Let me know if that’s cool. Too bad andrew retired
People just need to calm down. And this “drama” has been going on for longer than it should have.
Basically everyone just needs to stop talking because this shit is getting irritating.
Seriously, it’s getting to the point where I don’t even think WI should have a thread, or something along those lines. Shit is fine, and then this horse shit.
JUST STOP ALREADY, PLEASE. Just leave it be. The shit ain’t getting any better, so leave it alone.
If you guys are seriously talking about SB4 I’m down for that…I should be done with my financial spiral into hell by then. I feel the need to play in a big tournament that I’m not attempting to help run. Also that shit is right on my birthday, I think. I just remember that it’s in October. Party hats, motherfuckers.
8 hours driving, one way, is absolutely brutal. Factor in the usual tournament lack of sleep, not eating right, etc. and it’s pretty damn tough. I don’t think I could even stomach it as a passenger. 16 total hours driving is just rediculous. I surely won’t miss that.
Yeah, I can feel you on that. The drive to Ohio is brutal on either end, definitely more so on the driver in particular. But yeah, the only things nearby were a grocery store (an awesome one, at that) Raising Cane’s (yuck) and Big Lots, so the food in the area is like, straight junk food. Definitely not good.
I’m gonna come more prepared this year, though, for sure.
Yeah, and sleep is a huge factor too. It’s like, you want to stay up until 5am playing games, but then you also need to sleep to be fresh. Tournaments are tough. Tournaments that are 8 hours away are even tougher.
I rarely, if ever, sleep before tournaments. It’s hard to do so for the exact reason you gave. Maybe this year, I’ll drug myself into unconsciousness the night before the tourney, and on the ride there, and on the ride back.
i’ve been looking for another ps3 for awhile. I was gonna get one for my brother but i decided to let him keep my old one and now i’m getting a sweet 60GB hopefully today.
