What has ranting accomplished? Not a goddamn thing.
It’s not so much the ranting, but more so the whole “OMG HOW CAN YOU PLAY THIS, U R STUPID” mentality I’ve seen a few times in there. Let niggas enjoy the fucking game, for fuck’s sake. And I also think anyone who didn’t pay for their copy of the game isn’t in a position to complain since their money was not invested in the port. It’s stupid. People can shit on it all day, but it’s what we have and while it’s sad, it’s reality, and bitching never did anything for anyone but married rich women.
I definitely contributed to the hate towards the port. But you and orka put me in my place pretty much. It’s a ridiculously bad port, but it’s also ridiculous how everyone (myself included) has been complaining like CRAZY. I paid for the game…and dare I say it…I’m going to enjoy it. I wasn’t going to play it anymore, but I’m just gonna invent Akane combos and have fun with it. lol 'Sides, I’ve got stuff irl that’s bothering too, not just the port. But this is fighting game discussion, not Oprah :looney:

I’ve waited just as long as anyone else. I stated that if you didn’t spend money on it, you have no right to complain. I discussed this at length with Andy, and we’re agreed that the shit has to stop, and soon. Everyone whining is ruining what fun CAN be had. That’s all I’m getting at. It’s also not right for people to try and shit on the fact that people ARE having fun. What’s that gonna accomplish? It’s just weak that people are so quick to jump ship and bitch all day. It just goes to show what kinda babies make up this community, period. You either man the fuck up or shut the fuck up. It’s as simple as that.
And YES, I would look a “fellow Arcana player” in the face and tell them they don’t have any right to bitch about the game, but only if they didn’t pay for it.
EDIT: I’m just saying, the US AH community is pretty shitty, IMO. Like, when everyone thought Examu was charging for the upgrade to 2.6 or whatever. You had all this undue hate, and in the end, it turns out they were only charging for the upgrade from 2.0 to S!AH2.6. Even people who weren’t ever planning on buying the board were like, “WELL THAT’S GAY LETS ALL HATE ON EXAMU, OMG ITS THE COOL THING TO DO GUYZ.” Everyone’s so quick to turn on the company, and then everyone expects them to be faithful and give them a good port? Are you fucking kidding me? Come on, now. It’s that kinda shit that brings down the appearance of the community. It’s bad enough we’re playing a game with all lolis. Now it’s a bunch of turncoat crybabies, too? Get the fuck outta here. There STILL would’ve been complaints even if this shit was arcade perfect. Someone try to tell me otherwise.
I haven’t voiced any discontent with the port. I dunno if you noticed. I have acknowledged that there’s problems, but shit happens. I’m happy to be playing the game.

Good. It’s a solid-ass game, regardless of the port’s problems. There’s some minor things (lag during supers, but that shit happens in arcade Marvel, even) and the major shit (Petra lagging the game) is easily avoided.
I want to learn Zenia and Akane, maybe even main them. Bill stole Dorothy from me, and I don’t feel like learning the card hands anymore. But when I saw charge motions for Zenia, I got discouraged. Add the just-frame pile bunkers, and I’m like “Boy, I got a lot of work ahead of me”. lol But Clarice is definitely my main now. Angelia ftw

Yeah. If i get into AH2 (which is now a definite cus its something to play that’s not SF, and from what I’ve heard an all around solid game from most folks) most likely it will be after finals and during the summer where I can sit down and learn the stuff.
