I trying to mod my Wireless Profighting arcade stick for the 360 and I wanna use Sanwa buttons in replacement of the current factory buttons. I haven’t seen any videos for modding one(I’m sure there’s a reason) so I came looking for some help from some the best. Hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction, thanks.
Are you talking about the Hori wireless fight stick for the Xbox 360?
I don’t know if you are talking about the Hori wireless, but I think this will provide some insight

Sorry bro, I didn’t specify.
Here’s a Pic.
Oh that.
Yes it is able to be modded, its it worth modding? No!
Also look closely at your total cost.
Those sticks you selected are $35 to $50 not including shipping.
A Sanwa JLF is about $23, a Sanwa 30 mm button about $3, Sanwa 24 mm is about $2.50 more if you get clears
3 times 10 is $30.
The JLF harness is $3.50
The button wire harness is $7.50
So lets add it up
$50 + $23 + $30 + $3.50 + 7.50 = $140
And that does not include any additional materials, solder, shipping cost or tools.
You are far better off getting an actual premium joystick for $140 like a Mad Catz, Hori, or even eTokki’s own Omni (at $195, you may as well)
It was a birthday gift, that’s the only reason I’ve considered keeping it. The stick needs to gtfo more than anything.
Thanks for your input.
its not the same but look up modding the Hori EX 2 stick
You have some of the same tasks ahead of you like desoldering all the buttons

conversely, if you just want to do the buttons… its do-able. I swapped some in a similar stick not too long ago.
If you have a dremel, soldering iron, and wire its pretty easy. If its your first mod (and you dont care if the stick gets ruined) it wouldnt be a good place to cut your teeth on. It would be a good project “just because” and help you learn about it.
Open it up and take a pic please?
I guess as a learner/ Project stick it works
I just against people thinking they are getting something better for less with a budget stick and end up fooling them selves by spending more money.
Some people will just never be able to comprehend the Samuel Vimes Boots Theory of socioeconomic unfairness.
