GZR Nights: Winter Supremacy! 2014
What:
-Super Street Fighter 4:Arcade Edition (2012) tournament - On Xbox 360
-Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 tournament - On Xbox 360
System:
-Tournaments are on Xbox 360
-There will be 6 Asus Monitors we will be using for the tournaments.
(If anyone else can bring more set ups you are more then welcome to.)
When: February 22nd, Saturday
Time: Casuals at 1pm (Casuals will run during tournament on other set ups except during finals)
Tournaments starts at 2pm
Street Fighter 4: v. 2012 will start 2:00pm
U. Marvel vs Capcom3 will start at 3:30pm.
Format/rules:
-A match consists of: 2 out of 3 rounds per game.
-2 out of 3 games for a set (U.MvC3 is 3 out of 5 games)
-Grand finals consist of 3 out of 5 games.
-After a game has ended, the winner must stick with same character or set for the next game.
-Loser has option of switching characters
-Game breaking glitches are banned.
-Programmable controls are banned. Button macros (e.g. 1 button to perform 3 punches at once) are allowed. Turbo button features are NOT allowed.
-Pausing a game will result in forfeit of that round unless the opponent chooses to waive this option.
-tournaments are on a double elimination bracket
Registration/venue fee : $5
Entry Fee per tournament: $10
Prize break down (per tourny):
1st: 70% of pot
2nd: 20% of pot
3rd: 10% of pot
At our “Summer Supremacy 2013” event we had about 25-30 people there. We are hoping to have at least 35 people there since we got the OK last minute but we will most likely have more people there then that.
This is great practice for Evo 2014.
