This was my first SF tournament (I’m primarily a calibur player), and I just wanted to say I had a great time. I went 0-2, which is to be expected, I’ve only been playing a couple months now and, prior to that, I hadn’t played a SF game since SSFII Turbo for SNES, but I had a good time all the same.
I really want to give props to the two guys I played, but to be honest, I can’t remember for the life of me who they were. Either way, though, they were really nice guys. I’ll make sure to come and get an education beat into me again sometime.
For my first major I had an amazing experience! Good shit big E u made my first major an excellent one. I’m not happy with my results to much but they did give me a ridiculously hard ass bracket aka the sagat bracket lol. I wasn’t getting out of that one alive. Next time tho I’m placin top 8!
This was my 1st tournament also, and I also had a great time. So much talent in one room, it was pretty insane.

Damdai: I do agree we should have used Tonamento. I believe Hubbs was having trouble with the internet connection there and that’s why we ultimately didn’t use it.

On a side note. The hotel staff was very inhospitable. No working ATM in their 3 hotels, telling us to get off the lounge couch if you didnt rent a room and the real kicker telling me to walk across the parking lot to use the bathroom cause they decided to close the public bathroom for 1 hour.
