I think metroid fans stick to the 2d ones since there the best
^2D metroids are the only ones worth playing, and again Zero Mission is my favorite 2D metroid of all time… all of them are good but Metroid Fusion goes on the bottom of my tier list… Super Metroid is like the second best 2D metroid of all time…
Would you be okay with softmodding your wii and using a snes emulator? That’s the only way that will happen…
Metroid Prime Trilogy is going to have it’s detractors for various reasons but personally imo Retro did a damn good job translating how she should play in 3D. The only thing that’s missing from those games is the Speed Boost power honestly. Playing the Trilogy with the Wii mote is the way to go. I can’t go back to playing it on the gamecube at all because of it.

how does rune factory keep getting games?
Supposedly Rune Factory is actually a solid series even though I haven’t touched them or the Harvest Moon games. Plenty of people have come into my store looking for either one of the games. Some people who like Harvest Moon can’t seem to get into Rune Factory and vice versa however.
Weird. I’ve never met any one who has played them.
Rune Factory Oceans doesn’t sound horrible though. From the looks of it it’s like if Mega Man Legends raped Farmville in Japan.

VC Super Adventure Island WiiWare: Fast Racing League

The last thing I bought for the Wii was Madworld… I’m pretty discouraged from buying anything from Nintendo at this point…
I’d be more impressed with a basic console than Nintendo’s bad attempts to be edgy and innovative…
What type of games do you enjoy? and Madworld came out in like…2008 IIRC. There’s been quite a few titles that have been released since then but I don’t know what your preferences are.\

I almost forgot…Wii’s dropped in price to like 140 right now. I had to put the stickers on the system boxes this morning. Unsure it’s going to stay that way. I thought they were gonna just drop to 150 and just hold on that for a moment.

Wii exclusive RPG…uhh…lol. Workin on that. Nintendo has 2 RPG’s that they’re sitting on right now that they haven’t announced for NA yet. Xenoblade and Last Story. The only time we’ll find out if those ever will come over here will be E3. Me and a few others already got our torches and pitchforks ready just in case they say…‘NAAAAHHH…ya’ll don’t need that’. Arc Rise Fantasia would have been ok…but then you hear the voice acting. Sakura Wars isn’t exclusive but reviews were pretty good to it. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is good if you like Strategy RPG, I’d reccommend playing the GC prequel first FE: Path of Radiance. I’ve heard that Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world was disappointing unfortunately…though if you haven’t played the first on the GC I’d reccommend tracking that down. Super Paper Mario is good but it’s more platformer adventure than RPG. Wii is definitely lacking in the good RPG department though until NOA actually announces the first 2 I mentioned for release over here. Tales of Graces was released on the system but it only came out in Japan.
Holy shit how the hell am I forgetting about Muramasa? I had to take a quick look on my stack of games to remember it for whatever reason. If you like Action RPG’s in 2D with beautiful artwork I whole heartly reccommend that game. Then there’s also Monster Hunter Tri…I’m pretty sure that counts as an Action RPG as well. Some would also reccommend Fragile Dreams as well.
As for Platformers…I’m fairly certain most of the ones that I mention you should already know or have played already but I’ll run through them.

Picking up these in the next two weeks: No More Heroes 1 & 2, RE: Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles, and 0. Really is there any other must have titles that are worth searching for? Some of these are hard to find. Not interested in Twilight Princess again, and Mario Kart Wii won’t budge on price new or used.
Goldeneye( actually finally picked this up myself), Muramasa, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (thought you said you were gonna get this at some point?), Sonic Colors, Naruto CoN Rev 3 (if you enjoy Naruto), Red Steel 2, Punch-Out!!! (hard to find), Little King’s Story (this game is really hard to find now), Dead Space Extraction (if you didn’t download it on your PS3). There’s others I can’t think of at the moment and I have to be at work.
Punch-Out I do need to get, the local Gamestop has a few copies used for $34.99. I keep forgetting about Fire Emblem, and Dead Space Extraction as well.
I’ve seen Little King and Muramasa around but they don’t seem to interesting to me. Red Steel 2 maybe, looks alright. Oh and Sonic Colors as well. I guess after those few purchases I am done with my Wii hording unless something cool comes out.
