And Deejay, if you really like BB, might as well keep playing. You and Kyle need to get more people to play. If the smashers are looking for a new game, definitely get them into BB. I doubt they’d wanna get into SFIV. Most likely they’d play BB or T6, probably even Melty. Concerning Hakumen, I know what it’s like when I play Viper. It’s definitely a loss in morale when you work so hard with a character to only lose lol

Keep at it though man, if you like the character, just keep playing. Hopefully when the console version of BBCS comes out, there will be a revival in the wichita scene for the game.

I really like BB especially the characters and story. It’s really all depends on why ur doing what your doing. Do u like the feeling of winning? Do u like the satisfaction from doing a long ass combo? Or do you like the story, char, and the game setting? Or is it beating a high tier char with a low tier one? You have to ask yourself, once you understand the reasons, and clears ur goal, you will enjoy playing much more.

Aside from gaming together, we’re just a normal group of friends outside of the games who do other stuff when we’re not playing fighters at sessions. Like watching movies…some weirder and more awkward than others.

Deejay: Don’t feel bad if you want to drop it. To put it in comparison, KC stopped playing that game and focused on getting better at t6. Not sure if it’s a “new flavor of the month” feeling or whatever, but they decided on getting back into it when Continuum Shift comes out next year.

I get angry when I lose to bullshit. That’s just how I am. I might be angry one day and swear off the game, but I’ll always come back later to get better at it. Plus, playing really good people helps motivate me to get better especially when I lose. Makes you see the holes in your game a whole lot better than random shit people do in games, which helps quite a bit.

Kyle seems pretty busy these days, I’m not even sure if he practices as much if at all…Andy would know maybe.

Yea I like the game, and I don’t plan to stop playing it (it’s really all I have). It’s just, when I do play it I go into a mode where it feels like a chore. I thought the break after Fall Brawl would help, but it really didn’t make a difference. It’s kind of hard to describe. Thanks for the input, at least we got some discussion to happen, haha.

Very few of the Brawlers have what it takes to play anything but Brawl. The few that try and branch out usually give up pretty quickly and go back to Brawl. There’s a handful (2-3) who’ve managed to stick with BB though.

I think the holiday season is keeping Kyle busy. When he comes over, it’s usually late.

Kyle - He plays almost every game though. And he plays them well. A true renaissance man of gaming.

Cameron (Inferno) - Plays Arakune.

Brandon (ChaosTheoryX) - Plays Jin. He plays now and then, but I think Blazblue is only a passing fancy for him.

Caleb (Holmes) - Was getting good with Carl before he quit.

Micah (Mr. Doom) - Played Jin before he quit.

Nate (Nynja) - Played Rachel before he quit.

But I got nothin but respect for Kyle. Like Andy said, he really is a renaissance man of gaming. I’ve seen him play just about every game and at a real competitive level. I wish I could do that same, except for some reason all my skills are focused onto my one game; SF.

I do appreciate the help that Andy, Pete, and Zack have given me trying to learn Melty, since I really do enjoy that game :). Even if I do play a bullshit character hahah. Tekken ,I just play it cause I like Lee and Lars as characters and even if I get my ass kicked, it’s just fun to take a break from SF here and there.

Brandon is the kid that plays Lucas on Brawl. He’s usually the guy complaining about how unbalanced the game is but keeps playing it.
