Here’s hoping for PC version support.

this one’s pretty funny IMO

once MvC2, TvC, Tekken come to ps3, EVO will be a all ps3 tournament

i not counting smash, because they really arent with us, just something we can help hype their players for

BS on this. All you have to do is:

Hold down guide button.

Select “Turn Off” Controller.

No more problems.

Especially in SF4. Where you have the option on Vs. Screen to “Press START on the controller you want to use.”

For OP: Get a PS3 stick, or dual mod your 360 stick.

TVC isn’t coming to PS3, keep dreaming.

If it weren’t for the anti-consumer move by Microsoft of making their system not accept non-Microsoft approved devices or accessories then no one would have a problem. It’s a security feature built into the Xbox 360 to prevent any one from making accessories without paying a royalty fee to Microsoft (Which is very high, that’s why the Xbox 360 Standard Edition stick was more expensive than the Playstation 3 one, because of the royalty fees of Microsoft are way higher than Sony’s.) and even if the company can afford the royalty fee Microsoft can flat out deny them like they’ve done to X-arcade. Read here if you want to learn more about that whole thing.

There is a Playstation 3 to Xbox 360 adapter device but it costs like $70 because it has to be built so complex to get through the hardware security lockout that Microsoft has for non-approved Microsoft products. Might as well just buy a stick for that price. A PS2 to PS3 or a PS2 to DC or vice versa is nothing more than $10 at that since no anti-consumer measures were taken like this by Sony or Sega. So if you want to blame anyone for this, you should blame Microsoft for making their console that way.

Fuck man, SRK always brings the laughs, SOOOOO GOOD

Don’t want to sound like a broken record in this thread but did I see superior console describing the 360? A console that is the 2nd most powerful tech spec wise this generation and the number one console for shitting itself?

I went to a street fighter 4 tournament and it was the first time I’d seen it on ps3 as I have it on 360. I was appalled to say the least, I actually thought it had crashed because the loading screens took such a long time. Whenever anyone picked Gouken there was a subtitle saying, “hmm” even though that wasn’t what he said and subtitles were turned off. I dunno if it’s different if the game is installed but it was terrible.

its different if the game is installed.

ps3 wins.

It’s not a hard decision. They can make a very good tournament with the PS3s they already have. They could also spend a lot of money to get 360s, and then have less resources for everything else. Eveything else at Evo is pretty cool, so PS3 is IMO the best idea even for 360 owners

it was a racist decision

black powah!!!

Ding! We have a winner!!

So out of curiosity, did Microsoft or someone just loan you all those 360s for DOA?

What happened to the Yaris 360s?

To be fair, DOA4 was held back in 2006. They probably got rid of them since it was not needed for 2007 and 2008, unlike the PS3s for Tekken. I also heard that the 360 version of SF4 is faster than the arcades’ and PS3s’, but do not quote me on it.

Anyone have any idea of how great this is? http://www.xcmlive.com/cgi-bin/xcmlive/engine.pl?function=viewid&id=RKS000165

oh dont worry.
im sure EVERYONE has realized it

close this shit

Who out there is bringing a dual modded 360 stick just curious?

Unfortunately it doesn’t always work out that way. Having run a couple of small 360 tournaments with primarily pad players at the store I work for, I can say that there were a bunch of times that the game wouldn’t recognize a newly synced controller because it would sync as player 3 and it was looking for player 2.
