I can’t play MGS, uncharted, SF5, AIl and other games aren’t available on the Wii-U. As for out-growing mario…no. Considering I still play crash bandicoot…yeah. I’m never too old for “kids” games. I just don’t like the Wii-U. I have a wii back at my other place it’s alright. Good metroid, brawl and I think zelda TP.
If I didn’t know any better I’d say you were insulting me.
and I wasn’t insulting you, @FengShuiEnergy , only speaking my mind. It seemed like you were just wantonly bashing Nintendo because their games don’t come with badass, gruff, gritty generic white male protagonists like two of the three series you mentioned that aren’t going to make it to Wii U. And I don’t even want to know what PC did that made you say fuck PC gaming.
I like uncharted. Drake is a cool guy. SS is another personal fav of mine (but raiden is my fav MGS character). I don’t like PC because everything I like on PC I can get on a console and thensome. So it’s really a waste.
I don’t pick systems because of specs. I pick them because they have the games I like. If KI is ever ported over to the PS4 I’m selling my X1 in a heartbeat.
Hold on, hold on, it was a joke, and he definitely understood it was a joke, hence is response:
** Never. Juri protect me.**
But yeah, sure, lets make a big deal out of something that isn’t there.
Also, I wonder what made you think he was bashing the Wii-U, and that he would be associating it with little kids. (even though there are people that think that) After reading what he said again, he didn’t even say or leave any kind of context clue referencing that he might think that, if that makes sense. All you did was assume he thought that, so don’t school me about how or how not I should be around other human beings. With that being said, happy new year.
Whoa whoa whoa. Easy. Nintendo is fine. I got no problem with it. Outside of metroid, there’s not a whole lot I thoroughly enjoy from nintendo games. I like mario I don’t mink link etc etc. Though I’m not a big enough fan to go out of my way to purchase there games anytime soon.
If you said to me MGS5 was coming out in Jan (it won’t just an example) or BR5 comes out next year, I’d be all over that. Or You have some kind of Juri item. That kind of thing.
The WiiU sucks because it doesn’t have any games.
Fucking waste of money unless you’re a huge fan of Nintendo’s flagship series and/or earn a lot of money so you can afford other systems as well.
Don’t care if games are not “realistic” and shit, I mean I play video games to get away from reality.
Always went with the console that looked the most promising in its generation.
NES>SNES>PS1>PS2>Nothing>PS4
Never listened to the retarded fanboys who told me to get a Saturn/Dreamcast/N64 etc.
All they ended up with were shitty consoles nobody had and a handful of good games.
Gotta admit you couldn’t really go wrong last console generation, since every system had something for different people, I passed though cuz pc gaming was the coolest shit since sliced bread for me during that time.
Kinda like back when Genesis and SNES were big. You liked arcade games beat 'em ups and schmups n shit? Get a Genesis. You like RPG’s and platformers, here’s the SNES. Couldn’t really go wrong back then.
This generation PS4 is the console to get closely followed by the X1, while Nintendo has this generations fail console, when I thought the trend of selling shitty consoles that ruin companies was over since the Jaguar/Saturn/Dreamcast, Nintendo brought that back.
Considering at launch outside of KI the ps4 and X1 line-up were garbage. Absolute horrible. But I’m glad they got the FPS (somewhat) hype outta the way. Bring out the garbage games first…then haul the better ones later.
I’m glad destiny, alien isolation (great horror game btw I recommend it) and MGS GZ came out eariler this year. Having fun with those games.
I might actually move over to Playstation for this game. I hate to fall into Sony’s trap, but I’m really liking this series so far and will probably want to stick with it. Dangit, Capcom…
Welcome to how the FGC has, for the most part, always worked. Instead of sticking to one brand, most people just play on whatever console their game of choice is on.
hmmm, just wanted to point out this really isn’t proving your point all that well.
Resident Evil is one of Capcom’s biggest IP’s (units sold) and is likely on topped by MH now. All of those SF titles are games made with the same engine and just reiterations of itself. Your estimates SF and all it’s titles at almost 8 million units! Do you know how many IP get any where close to that?
SF is huge man, it’s still the biggest fighting game on the planet, and yes, this is actually pretty similar to the TR deal in that it’s likely helping out the studio just as much as Sony. The reason the backlash is lessened is because fighting games in general are more associated with PS than anything else. The only reason SF on 360 has some level of popularity is because online was more stable on Xbox and frame data matters greatly at tourney level play. That won’t be the case with Sony being directly involved with that tourney scene now, and honestly, I’m not sure sales will suffer much if at all with this deal.
lol, yeah I love WiiU but I understand the other guy’s comment as well. It’s greatly exaggerated, but he does have a point, 3rd party is largely absent from Nintendo’s console. And yes, this year, you can argue about how amazing WiiU is because it has some quality exclusives, but most titles are still cross-gen on PS4/X1. The games that really take advantage of the hardware has yet to arrive. Most of them, won’t be on WiiU, and you are left with a machine dedicated to Nintendo’s classic franchises.
Smash brothers, Mario Kart, 3D world, Yoshi, Zelda, etc…amazing amazing games, but when it comes down to it, you’re going to have a library of 20 great-classic titles, compared to PS4 which already has over 200 titles. WiiU is a perfect second console IMO, but price is an issue for many people.
