But 2df runs the CPS3 games with regular ass traditional delay. That means the quality of the netcode is equal to p2p kaillera unless damdai made some changes.
Dunno wtf you kids are talking about…we run GGPO VS tournaments once a millennium like clockwork.
Whats Vs:wtf:
Its A community project we r going to do leagues for ST 3S STHD(maybe) A3/A2 and others depending on community demand. We will have a internet radio station discussing matches/predictions, and possibly live comentary of matches. we will have single and team leagues(3v3/ 5v5)

its called sarcasm
I would post about tourneys and peeps had no interest or no shows so I stopped.
Yup and I saw your Sarcasm and raised you my facetious-ness, with a bit of Chicanery.
A little of this. I ran the donation tournaments and turn out was always light. Some of the larger tournaments happened randomly out of the blue.
I’m also spending my game time on HDR right now. So…yeah. =(
Although if I hear about a RSX tournament, I’m probably down.
sounds cool…i hope were not required to sign up to a site or something…its just annoying to sign up for something like that when it can be organized on SRK
I’ve been experimenting with some casual team games. Like 3 vs 3. I definitely think there is interest in tournaments on GGPO from the reaction of everyone playing, and most have fun doing it.
The biggest problem is organization. I don’t want to use mIRC even if it helps keep things together. Mainly because not everyone wants to sign into a separate chat to keep things together (or maybe find a more simple one? Like a link to the chat, and everyone just goes in to sign up, rather than finding out how to use mIRC on their own). I also find a lot of people just come in and want to join on the spur. And don’t really want to check the forum, so finding a way to get them involved too could help.
The spectators wasn’t a big deal. We usually just wait for everyone to load in, hit reset and begin the match. It does cause problems with EC vs WC, but thats going to happen anyway.
People are usually too busy with their own matches to spectate others. So during loser/winner/grand finals, they could just disconnect the GGPO chat so no one can spectate, and record their matches to upload later for everyone to see.
If no one wants to give it a shot, I’ll take a stab it. But I want to find some solutions to these problems first.
ST tourneys at GGPO were epic.
they still are
