Why Japanese Players always kick us out?

Hurr, my last job was tech support for Business DSL customers. Unfortunately the bars are not accurate at all. If you have anywhere from 1-3 bars it’s a tossup. I’ve had games on 1 bar that were fine. I’ve played against Japanese players with very little to no lag. I’ve also had 3 bar connections that had major skips and delays.

Maybe its because playing someone on the other side of the world is a sure fire way to a laggy SF4 match? I’ve never seen a jap on psn with more than 2 bars…

Stupid.

Some Japanese won’t play me, despite having a 4-bar connection and the Language Preferences set to Japanese. I have had people check my profile and see “Hong Kong” as the location and then drop. I have gotten racist Japanese hate mail too. The funny thing is that I’m not even Chinese.

Japanese people usually don’t kick you. They usually just leave and create another room. They do this because of thier cultural background. But like everyone else says, there is nothing to discuss here. Pointless thread that has obvious answers. No one wants to play in a laggy game when they can find a non laggy game. End of story.

Connection bars are not accurate most of the time I had super laggy green bar games. Never had a good connection with someone from Asia, so there’s no point in playing a game where instead of fighting you watch slides. Capcom should really fix their netcode. Are you telling me that they did not know the asian connections with people outside of Asia are horrible?

They do not want to integrate with native people, fear to rejection. But if they keep being apart, native will reject them more for being so different. It’s a circle hard to break, if you can, make the first move

Is not Hong-Kong part of China now? having Japanese as language may give the idiots one reason (in their faulty mind) to attack you.

Sometimes I can play well in Computer with 1-bar user, that’s when they are from USA. But I still need check their profiles to know where they are from, 1-bar (with English as language) from Asia is very bad gameplay from someone in Europe like me. There are other factors apart from the physical distance between Europe and Asian countries that makes the Internet communication very poor for games, because USA is in the other direction and from Europe you can play well with most North Americans in multiplayer games.

I’d like to being able to play with Japanese, heard they are good players in Street Fighter kind of games, but the technical conditions do not make it possible.

I’m really not a bar snob, I’ll play 1-bar connections (unless it’s any round of championship except for the 1st). And 9 times out of 10 the connection is fine. However, at the same time, I’ve had 3 bar connections that were laggy. So you just never know.

Most of the people that kick me out live on the east coast. :frowning: no respect.

Hong Kong has always been Chinese, but it was occupied by the Japanese briefly during WWII and was governed by England until 1997.

I use Japanese and the preferred language because there is no option for Chinese and geographically Japan is much closer than the States.

I’ll play anyone with three bars and up 'cause they are always stable for me. Two bar and one bar are too laggy as fuck to play with. I’d love an option where you can set your hosted matches to allow a minimum bar requirement so you wouldn’t get dudes trying to join your game with only one bar.

I have one question. If i see someone as 3 bars, does he sees the same ? If he doesnt (sees only 1 bar), then i can understand why i am being kicked (to prevent lag).

otherwise it’s just either cherry picking or they want to play with their jap counterparts which i feel is downright anti-social.

The Real Deal is simple. It is like if you could watch your favourite TV-show from 2 different channels.

Channel 1 would broadcast the show with skipping frames and occasional slowdown with connection losts.

Channel 2 would provide smooth Real Deal HD fluid picture quality.

Which one would you choose?
Japanese are real smart, they don’t even think about the possibility of playing lagged game. That’s why they kick out.

Cant wait tell the connection with Japan/ the world are at 4 bars.

My friend Desora is in Japan… He’s played me with a one bar connect before… It was worth it. We had a really good connection for one bar.

Worst think that could happen is the match turns out to be unplayable. When the happen… we just disconnect.

I bet if you guys could Play Mago with 1 bar connection you all would give it a shot.?
