You new guys don’t know about broken characters. This game has soft ass characters compared to old SF games. Still think she has a more interesting spacing game than Rufus any way.

By that logic, let’s say we have 6 Cammy’s that got 10 top at Evo, well none of them got first, guess she’s low tier.

I had a salty friend send me messages a few days ago (might pickup Cammy as a secondary from Bison). Won 7-1 FT 7. Usually hatemail = delicious. I was still pissed off cause of how many combos I missed. -_- Especially when I got ex cannon strike, cl.mp, cr.hp, stand still. #Kappa
Nobody is broken or glaringly OP in AE, but there are a few 7:3 matchups keeping otherwise solid characters from doing better in tourneys. No Bison is getting past Dieminion at evo but a well rounded character like Akuma or Cammy won’t hold anyone back. Anyhow, Cammy gets hate cause her autopilot trumps everyone else’s autopilot. If you aren’t actively working to shut down her air game you get dumpstered plain and simple. But its not like you can’t space her out or figure out what can and can’t be punished.
There are far too many Cammy players, I see one practically every other match. When you verse one you lose and when you use one it’s like your cheating and you feel bad. SFAE update was damage nerf, USF update is damage nerf. The second ultra is also too strong and it’s easy to hit others with it every single match.
Even though the character has no mix up, no safe on block chip damage spam, no command grabs it’s still an over powered character and trust me, the next update is going to be more damage nerf.
Actually she got all the juicy combos in SFAE. It was a huge damage buff not a nerf, in 2012 they didn’t change too much either except the 2 hit HK Arrow.
Now they just toned her damage down a tad but good job at spreading misinformation.
I use Cammy (and Yun/Juri atm) as a secondary, cause of Guile, and Bison is kinda boring… but whenever I get a mirror match I just hysterically laugh unless it’s a true Cammy main. Those people just picked her up cause she’s top tier and can’t do jack. Especially when they turtle after a backthrow… What?
Her U2 is ass. Cammy is strong, no doubt. Unless you know some setups, combos and some footsies, you’re going nowhere son.

I use focus attack all the time but a focus ultra isn’t something you just whiff out, even then it losses to a lot of things and has no use even if you focus smash or stun the other guy.
I sure as hell wouldn’t ask for less damage and a spammable dive kick but I’m sure someone did, I just don’t see many Cammy players though. Course any decent player would know that last post was full of sarcasm. Have been swapping around but you know, used this character a lot back in the day.
There’s an army of Cammy players. Now if you said GOOD Cammy players, that’s different.
main reason is she’s too fast. no matter what you’re trying to do she’ll kick you before your character can do half of the move animation and she doesn’t need to dodge or block many of the fireball moves and ultra moves because she can easily go through it with her screw kick that does ridiculous damage at the same time. freaking strong character!!
