but then again I dont use Sock EX moves to often as weird as that sounds. Mainly because I have such a hard on for doing HP.Shou to Super. I think the only one I use is EX Tatsu to be honest. God I need a lot of work lol.
I had a short hiatus from Street Fighter and then I returned to have some Championship action. My Cammy and Vega were stalling, so I picked Sakura (who’s nowhere near my main). What happened was spiritual, we were tearing up the competition. I just started shutting people down. I have issues with Vega and Bison but other than that she was doing it for me. I didn’t even get beat by a Ryu or Ken the whole time (though some Dan player gave me issues.)
Sakura is a great character.
Lets just change her name to Sakurawesome or Beastakura! Face it, Socks ruins people lives after she dishes out the beating. RUINS LIVES!!!

cuz its awesome when you beat a sagat down so badly in the first round, that he spends the next round jumping backwards, hopelessly spamming tiger shots and he still loses pitifully.
I dunno if it’s the way I play Sakura (stoned), but I feel like shotos go easy on me sometimes. Someone will start off as Ryu, then go Ken, then Akuma. Sometimes Sagat/Dan shows up. It might be because I do silly things like walk up fierce, never jump in, and trot behind my ex fireball in the middle of a fireball war. lol@playing too much Chun. I love beating Ken in fireball wars… Ken doesn’t have enough time to throw out another fireball and he’s like oh noes and it disappears before hitting him lawl
Btw, could someone play me sometime. Like, show me the ropes. I’m having a lot of fun with this character, but there are lots of parts of my game that just aren’t as effective/damaging as they probably could be.
I prefer to be more combo oriented and Sakura can do that job perfectly. Beating people with a little schoolgirl is satisfying. Her charged hadoken can throw off your opponent’s timing. Her Japanese VA is adorable.
I play her because she’s my main in Pocket Fighter back then…when I was 7 years old.

Man I never was a fan of Sakura but something about the way she plays in this game I just love, Geif was my main but I just have way to much fun playing Sak.
I can see where that’s coming from; whenever I see people maining Gief, I always think: ‘how is it fun to have to follow the other all day?!’

I just like the fact that she smiles while kicking ass or getting a beat down. Add on the fact that she is a stunning machine and I fell in love (especially after switching from Claw).
I uh… Play Avril’s “Girlfriend” and Paramore tracks while I play Sakura. Lays down the mood.

Seriously, I can’t believe I’ve been playing this game for so long and I just found out about her.
She has sexy legs, pretty eyes, and just a cute attitude. Who wouldn’t like that?
