Hey she’s considerably easier to use than other characters… plus i can’t stand using charge characters on pad.
I wouldn’t call her easy to use… at least amongst myself and my friends current level of play. I’d say I’m the best out of all my friends and whenever they call me OP cause I use Sakura I laugh and tell them to use her… when they do try her they complain the whole time and they say she is horrible. Then the cycle repeats lol sigh.
Her lack of a real reversal and a good anti air besides her c.hp hurt her bad. Also to truly tap her potential you need to take full advantage of plinking and doing long ass combos… which is something that people who can’t play 2-3 hours a day (like me) may have a hard time achieving. I wish I had more time to play.
Anti-airs= c.HP, cs.HP, j.MP, nj.MK, dp (strength vary on distance)
Timing of her links are easy, she doesn’t have any awkward delays.
she’s easy to use in the sense her moves/combos are easy to pull off in comparison to other characters.

I always figured when someone says a character is easy to use, they are talking about being able to use their moves and not facing other characters. of course i’ll agree she isn’t easy to pick people off with unlike certain characters.
also you don’t need plink to be good… you want to plink to make your life easier.

people give me weird looks cause they think i plink when i land my combos, but i tell them i dont =/
I totally agree. In it’s most basic form, the point of the game is to HAVE FUN. Sakura herself is clearly having fun; she’s always smiling!
I also like Sakura because she’s underestimated/undervalued, very in your face, and has good mix-ups.

I say because she’s a very fun character to play, winning with her is so satisfying and her combos feels so good. And I like the “unique” feeling of playing her in ranked. Plus she’s adorable 
(The amount of times I got called a perv/pedo for using her) She’s like my age! lol
What’s your reason for playing with Sakura? Why do you keep playing her even though most matchups are a uphill battle? Just interested to hear everyone’s opinion
I use to main Karen in Alpha 3 but she wasn’t on 4 so i went with Vega. When super came out I still mained Vega but then I ran into a halfway decent Sakura and I was like “damn she is pretty decent”. So I start playing Sakura and I never stopped. Some match ups for me are still tough (Cammy, Rose and Rufus), but it’s all good…
Cos she’s fun to play. And I love hearing people go “Whoa” when I pull of a Skatan combo! 
I like to be competent with multiple characters.

Sakura has the easiest execution in the game IMO. I really believe it’s only hard to play sakura if you want to do unnecessary things. I mean stuff like hit confirmed cr.mk -> hp.shou -> fadc -> bnb or something even more ridiculous like c.mk -> tatsu -> c.hp -> tatsu -> cr.hp -> ex.tatsu
But honestly, you don’t need to go for that stuff to be effective. If you take that stuff out, everything else is easy compared to what other characters have to deal with.
I play shotos sometimes, but honestly it pisses me off sometimes how even basic essential execution is so hard to be consistent with. Try just antiairing correctly 100% the time (doing early fp.shoryu for one pixel of damage is not correct). Or getting reversal dp -> fadc to come out in the middle of blockstrings every time. That shit pisses me off
I thought everyone agreed Dhalsim requires the least execution.
No there are easier characters execution wise like Balrog, Seth and Ken. Of course it’s going the be easy if you only do c.lk c.lp c.hp ex tatsu like 90% of the Sakura players I play online, but that’s just my personal experience online.
