I’m gonna say this right now. The only people who make the argument that unbalanced games are better, are most of the time giant tier whores. They will actively go out of their way to pick the very top tiers in literally every game they play, and more often than not, they get blown up by people who actually spent the time mastering the game. These players care nothing about fair gameplay, they just want to boost their ego.
Edit: Of course this doesn’t apply to everyone. The people who aren’t tier pickers make this argument without realizing that unbalanced games still require balance, and that they might be thinking about it the wrong way. They probably meant to say “we like games with more distinguished and unique playstyles”
