just goes to show how extra sexist and underground the boxing organizations and boxing fans are towards female fighters, even more so than MMA before UFC made it mainstream (Strikeforce and Invicta FC deserve credit, but UFC put women’s MMA on the mainstream map). boxing is in a decline anyways with MMA taking over. even boxers like Holly Holm moved to MMA.
