Was any of the movie shot in imax?
rofl.
Dude, you don’t even know. We met up at a bobba tea place prior to the midnight showing. As we waited for showtime, we were playing UNO and shooting the shit. At one point, Dan #1 starts drawing while me and this other guy were talking. He just kept drawing for over a minute. Eventually, we were trying to contain our laughter so as to minimize the odds of choking on the tapioca already in our mouths.
It was bad. I think there were two decks shuffled together, and Dan had drawn over 40 cards before he finally got something playable. Green 4’s own him.
I really enjoyed the film despite the changes.
I heard bad things.
You only draw one if you can’t play a card in current UNO rules.
BLUE PENS…
AFAIK yes.
Good movie, amazing graphical novel. Much respect due to Zack Snyder for making a film meant for us comic readers and not the brainwashed masses that that eat up the shit filled sandwiches American media feeds them. The changes were irritating of course, but I was glad that they were just visual changes and conveyed the same story and morals in different ways.
i saw the movie, i felt it was pretty good i really liked the music. but at the same time i felt that about halfway into the movie they started rushing through the plot too fast, which made me feel indifferent about how dramatic it was saposed to be towards the end.
i had not heard of the “graphic novel” or comics before the movie, now im reading them and ill probly want to see the movie again after i finish.
I felt the same way about the pace of the movie. It’s funny that you noticed that without reading the comic lol The first hour and a half were almost exact down to the angles of the panel shots and the dialogue. I really wish we could have gotten a 5 hour film like Zack Snyder wanted so we could have gotten the full comic in moive form.
as i had never read the watchmen graphic novel the blue wang throughout most of the movie kinda threw it off for me, it was an awesome movie though. when i first saw it i was like wtf that cant be… then bout two seconds later i was reassured that it was what i thought it was.
I just saw Under the Hood. Yeah, I marked out for a bit. Now I know what Pablo feels like when he watches classic Flair/Steamboat matches to Sandstorm.
