Who is "the problem" on your team?

Zero, maining him since vanilla.

The title is sooooo misleading.

Nonetheless, I’d have to say my problem characters have to be Dante and Vergil. My Vergil can nearly kill a character if I get the first hit. My Dante is a bit worse bc of the changes but having him as an anchor to boost the dmg of noob combos after a good crossup has made me some great comebacks. Although I’d have to go with Dante bc there are times when I have no XF and he still takes out one or two people by himself.

It’s a 50/50 split between Ghost Rider & Trish.

Ghost is a problem, especially if you’re Rushdown. His chains keep out anyone who recklessly runs in and punish all assists in range (if you’re Sentinel using Drones, you might as well put him on point.) Plus his X-Factor gives him a big strength boost, and there’s always the fear of Penance Stare if you try to chip him to death.

Trish is a problem because of one thing, her Barrage Hyper can now OTG. Plus it’s mashable, her traps are still lethal, Round Harvest is almost as dangerous as Ice Storm (especially in X-Factor,) and she can switch strategies in a blink. Low on health, she’s got a good rushdown. Got your opponent lower, lay back and flip the traps out.

Hawkeye’s kinda getting there, but he does have some holes in his game. Still a valued member of my team, though.

Ghost Rider, and to a lesser extent, anchor Vergil.

Vanilla: Magneto

Ultimate: Strange and probably Strider on anchor

He WAS my problem character in Vanilla… I still find the new Fatneto very difficult to play. Dropping him isn’t an option but it’s hard to stick with him since Dr. Doom does everything he does, only better.

Me uhh yea Iron Fist.

As WALSRU stated, Spencer/Taskmaster core is solid (man, this sounds like Pokemon again). Can’t wait to try Nemesis.

Yeah, the title is misleading. I thought it was going to be about weak links. Looking at my sig, I truly wonder who that could be.

Yea, I’m confused too so I’ll just do both.

Stong point would have to be Cap. With Hawkeye playing from a distance and Haggar playing up close, Steve is the in-between guy that can play the mid-screen game and most people won’t run away from him cause of his annoying shield.

Weak point would have to be Hawkeye(Ha, thought I was gonna say Haggar. “Not a chance.”) I know Hawkeye is high-tier, but he’s still kinda new to me and I haven’t mastered his anchor game. Shooting arrows works against idiots who walk/jump/s.jump forward, but I don’t know what to do to open up the other guy when he has a lifelead. When I hit-confirm, it’s usually into the same relaunch combo I always do. I’m not used to his maneuver moves, and I haven’t found a way to ultilize all his arrows yet.

Need to put in more lab time with Clint.

Frank because he’s the only one I don’t drop all my combos with.

N-NO-OHHH!!

V.Joe. Hes the character thats on point, that I spent the most time with and know the most about, and the fact that most of my opponents haven’t fought a competent one before. Vergil is also pretty threatening with meters, although I’m still learning him. Morrigan can have some of that V.Joe factor too, plus her damage problem is remedied in x factor

My teams V.Joe/Vergil/Morrigan

On a good day Its Nemmy. On a bad day its Haggar. On really shitty days its a fully stocked Dormy

the problem on all my teams is ironman. hes the one that people dump meter and XF on the most to get an easy tod if they touch him, my other characters? not so much…
if only i could have 3 ironmen… when i learn 2 more character well it will be gravy.

Joe or Viper. I frequently see opponents make a decision to kill Viper outright with x-factor, or save it for my Joe. I need to find an anchor for my team though cause nobody gives a crap about who I keep in last.

I don’t know, I don’t think I have one, I’m really bad tbh

The size of the pictures indicate the size of the problem respectively.

Everyone on my team is the problem, snapbacks can’t save you now.

I have to say that I am very proud of my Wesker as I’ve nurtured him since Day one Vanilla and others feel the same. However for some odd reason I seem to get more compliments/complaints in regards to my Haggar over anyone else. I guess people just don’t realize how good he can be once he gets in. You make one mistake and you my friend shall be tossed like leftover salad and if you don’t have an air option after the reset, prepare to be looped to death.

Second place I think now actually has to go to Nemesis. He is like my new favorite as I have ALWAYS loved Haggar and Nemesis in my honest opinion is the “complete Haggar;” a character with both an otg (gotta tiger-knee the rocket) good reach (6H, j2H,), Armored moves (2H, DP Hyper, etc), 3 command grabs for every area around him (above, ahead, and in front) and a projectile. He is slow as hell, and big too so he is prone to instant overheads but what I love about characters like him and Haggar is they make me play the opposite that I normally do with Wesker, Dante, and Doom; they make me play patient and methodical. I normally don’t have to do that with my other teams as it’s all offense, offense, offense. You can’t go crazy with these slow guys but you can LOCK your opponent down to the point that they no longer want to move then BOOM command grabs --> death. I REALLY love Nemesis but my opponents don’t seem to.

Go figure…

Right now, I have two teams. On one of them, both my 1st and 2nd character are the problems with Magneto 1st and then Strange 2nd. On my other team, which is my main team, my Chris is really the huge problem. Whenever I choose him, people will waste all their meters to take him out lol. YES I MAIN CHRIS!
