these assists in general just have the best overall benefits to the majority of the roster. ANYONE can make good use of Rocks and Drones. Commando AA is easy to use. Cyke sets up the most options.
sentinel drones because it can turn any low tier character into a decent one. good for rushing and keepaway and chipping and locking down and can function as an anti air - KINDA. and useful for combo setups and crossups

Storm projectile… goes through everything, AA… comando is great… cyke and psy… good for setups

Mags projectile catches off guard… during a rushdown, pushblock plus mags pro into AHVB, or rocketpunch into super has gotten me out of alot of situations… I guess it just depends who you have on point… anything that sets up rom is great

well if u use it right it’s the damage that makes it better, good with mags for a rom setup. I know drones are godly for rushdown and makes low teir chars “more” useable than they actually are, but storm’s projectile is somewhat like drones but storm’s goes through everything… so “IMO!” storm pro replaces drones with all those storm/sent/capcom players
oh and I find that when sent comes out for drones… he eats AHVB alot… u have to cover him well
it isn’t like you don’t have to cover Storm when she throws the typhoon. Storm’s just as vulrnerable as Sentinel as an assist, if not more vulnerable. At least Drones can be used as an AA. Storm projectile can’t. And at least with the sentinel assist, cable needs at least 4 bars to kill him. Storm’s assist can be punished in 3.
Meh the conversation is mute, it all depends on what chars. u are using, and your style and skill.
IMO the top 5 all around usefull assists in generael are: Rocks,drones,Capcom AA, Cyc AA, Psy AA.

sent/capcom goes best together.
mag/psylock starts juggles best

I think drones are better for MSS and ROW that’s because drones work perfectly wityh everyone. so what is the use of the RP assist? Sure it adds extra damage to magneto’s roms and resets, but drones work better for the second character and it also works good for magneto also. So whats to loose? IMO, Magneto’s rushdowns are much stronger with drones than RP assists.
This thread sux… it all depends who u have on point… your style of play… I hate drones, i like rp… so what the hell does it matter… and you souldn’t rely on drones for an AA… that’s stupid… oh and IMO doesn’t mean shit neither???
If I hit… I go with sent rp, if they block I go with storm pro… and it works for me
