After watching the vicious cycle of my dad and mothers marriage (moms treated my dad like shit, then after the divorce, she still talked bad about my dad) and my sisters terrible marriage…I’m good. It’s gonna take one hell of a woman to make me want to get married.

I look at myself and I realize that I made some bad life decisions early on, so I’m doing my best to rectify them now. I’m 30, and if takes a few years to fix everything then that’s what it will take, but at this point I can’t afford a girlfriend, let alone a wife.

There are those individuals though, that even if they were put into my position, or worse perhaps, somehow feel that being married is something they have to checked off on their to do list, and thrown up as a facebook status, and tweeted with the hashtag #ballandchain.

Like they haven’t done anything personal to enjoy life, or to explore themselves and who they are, they just know that their circle of friends seems to be doing it one pair at a time, and that they’ve got to reserve a place in that line or else they’ll look the fool.

At first I thought I’d be jealous but it’s so horribly clear that so many people are rushing into this because it really is (and always has been apparently) a fad and less of a choice to really sit down and put some long hard thought into.

I am genuinely jealous of the married couples on SRK, as they seem to be something I may aspire to, but all the hipster fodder and pencil pushing kids that manage to infest the tri-state area? Not really.

I posted already. I want to get married and have kids with my girlfriend.
I guess Im still caught up in that whole family and children typa deal. Whether it be gay/lesbian/straight as long as its a family raising a child.
Shit honestly I could careless about my wife as soon as I have a baby girl and my sons. HA. I grew up with my parents together, so I want the same thing as them.

Also the majority of the people getting divorces end up just not pulling through. It’s natural that other people will get on your nerves. If you can make a baby and put up with that then you can pull through with the other person just as long. That person helped you make that baby and you should put effort into it.

Also theres other situations were my logic fails, but those are outliers.

Also: If a female isn’t crazy, she isn’t a female.
