I’m a great Hugo fan, but I never play Hugo on Hugo, there is no balance. It’s just not right. For that fight I use Alex, it seems only fair.
Akuma, Ken, Ibuki…as long as their users are decent or above as mentioned before.
ibuki isn’t hard… after a she jumps in 90 percent of the time they do a standing chain… i always red parry and 360 the little bitch and the damage 360ing her is like whoa…
i find ryu harder than ken to fight… ken has to attack u and ryu has the red fireball
so according eddiew hugo has no hard fights? play against a good/cheap akuma/ibuki and you’ll realize how hard it is to win…
and why would a good ibuki repeatedly do her standing chain after every jump in? plus, red parrying is easier said than done… you would lose more than you gain in the long run red parrying a combo starter… it’s not like red parrying the last hit of akuma’s hurricane kick where you would lose very little or gain a lot…
what do you guys do vs kens that LOVES to jump in? they can hit hugo really early, high or low… or jump in empty and throw… i faced serveral kens yesterdays that kept jumping in on me nonstop…
i don’t know if i should pick sa1 or sa3 vs those guys… i feel like if you can get a parry you can always sa1 them… or you can just sa3 them when they’re in the air…
backbreaker/360 after a parry if can’t parry a j.mp will do or a s.lp, sa1 or sa3 doesn’t matter problem is if they parry sa3 as anti-air best is sa2 if u can anticipate the jump in, even uoh can be sa2. do some whiff claps/or s.mp then backbreaker they wont realize it until they are hit by one.
