Maeda is still active in Vanilla. He participated in NSB15 or 16 I believe, where they used vanilla arcade cabs. He looked rusty as hell, but was still able to OCV 2 teams.
Overall, I say Pamyu has the better Boxer out of him and Maeda. Even though Pamyu is the more laid back Boxer, he will get aggressive when it is called for…
I can’t wait until AE comes out so they can get back to wrecking folks. rubs hands
I haven’t seen anything at all from either Maeda or Pamyu in ssf4. Japanese Ranked Matches show bad boxer play IMO.
I’m sure that PR Rog, JS Master, and Keno have the best competitive Balrogs. They are the most consistent Balrog players when it comes to tournament placing.
Josh Wong’s balrog is also very good but actually he plays the entire cast at a pretty high level and I don’t it’s fair to the dedicated rogs to put Josh in the same category because he will counterpick with another character for the advantage in tournaments lol

this thread is very fanboy’ish anyway. Ben Fong has the best rog
He too overhead crazy. Cost him way too many matches. Good Boxer though.
I asked a couple Japanese players who they thought the best Rog in Japan was and they both said Maeda. This was like months ago though, I didn’t ask if he still plays. Haven’t seen any Super vids.
Also I’d say PR Rog for U.S.
JSMaster best rog period? not to be too hyped but he just ocv’ed team japan
After seeing what I just saw… best Rog in North America is JSmaster lol. That kid is aggressive in ways I don’t understand. Beastly.

Maybe we haven’t seen the Japanese rogs as of late, but in North America it’s pretty much him. I don’t think there is any doubt about that.
A Canadian playing an American character better than the Americans.
We’ve have failed as a country.
JSMaster is really a beast. Really awesome rog.

This could get viral and become an SRK meme.

WOW. I saw a couple of matches, including convincingly beating J.Wong’s Rufus, on the Canada Cup stream yesterday and he was super impressive. I know you can’t base someones ranking on watching one match, but he certainly looked the goods. I’d love to see more of this guy’s Rog against top level competition! Very aggressive and skilled player.
Totally agree. He probably scared the living lights out of the players. He wasn’t scared of anything.

I think Moose on the East coast for sure… He just seems to amaze me the things I see him do…
Javits easily best rog in America
It should based on who has done more, not who’s playstyle you like. Although I really enjoy Keno, I’m an aggressive Rog myself, I don’t believe in sitting and waiting. I mean, I’ll do it when I really need to like against a Gief or Seth or something, but for the most part, I like to constantly rush my opponents and mix em up. It usually confuses them, seeing that from a Rog.
I’m afraid I do not understand what you said, I just start to learn it.
i think JPN Maeda Tyson, US PR Rog and yea Canada JS
