Thanks for testing things out. Safe first rekka means no need to fear trying hard links - if any. It looks easily hit confirmable. Her pressure is going to be godlike.
Her DP must fall alongside other DPs in this game. I can live with EX-only full invincibility, the less this game takes from SF4 the better.
Getting a jab out of her EX fireball midscreen is more than enough, we can link that into her c.MK and finish the combo with her rekka. We got midscreen damage!
Word of caution: only raw ex fireball (not cancelled from a normal) leaves them close enough to link a LP after from what I tried briefly. You might be able to do walk up jab or link another normal with more range I dunno! I’m currently watching Final Round I might test later.
And yeah, dragonpunches in this game are a lot weaker than in SF4.
Oh, that’s a pity. Hopefully a close normal without too much pushback works - thinking about trying out close :mp: and :mk: right now.
I am so damn happy to hear Poison’s Rekka is safe on the first hit that made my day. She has some solid pressure now…but I like zoning so I’ll be chucking balls anyway. I’ll still be playing Poison/Hwoarang and Jin on PSN until Cody shows up of course. PSN: Franchise54-_-

I facepalmed as soon as I saw Hak was the one doing Poison because he always skips over a truckload of important info on every character he does. So I wasn’t as mad as Rook and Jamp because I saw that coming.

Can we plz stop with the lame Poison gender jokes? It’s not that I get offended, it’s just really played out and lame at this point to me. Like the guy to chimes in with that " oh yeah man that’s cool…NOT!!" joke that makes everyone want to stab him because how he killed the fun. That’s where I am on gender jokes in this thread, it wouldn’t be so bad if some of them were actually funny.

^ I agree, on both. Hak says everything way to fast, and doesnt go down all of the benefits of the character, he replied to one of my replies on Youtube, and said that if I should have a rushdown fighter, i should pick Hugo. I see Poison as a female version of Ryu, not just Zoning, but Rushdown as well.
And also guys the Gender thing is annoying especially that Eventscrubs keeps mentioning it EVERY DAMN TIME theres a video on Poison.

I can understand why Rufus looks so different in the face, but I don’t get Zangief’s face lift. It’s like he got a smaller head. Maybe Pandora can bishounenfy people.
Oh we got a safe first hit of Rekka? Awesome. I’m glad we’re finding this stuff out now, it means we don’t have to test it out later and can just go into combo practice.
