So, do you think it’d be better to pair up Poison with a high damage character? If yes, who are good high damage characters I could use, just grapplers like Hugo or King? Because on Cross Assault most teams seem to be someone like Ryu first, then a grappler second.
Also, I don’t know for sure if you can hold down buttons on the VS screen, but my guess is that you can, since you can in Marvel 3 and even Marvel 2 I think. Hell, even SSB has that with Shiek and ZSS.
Please have your friend test her fireballs if possible.
Does any of her fireballs go through other fireballs in the way they do in MK.

lolz Robbie, you know me~ hahaha but in all seriousness things are going to be busy here very soon…like there was a good while when these threads were almost dead -_-’ now they are going to be booming. nevertheless, i got an important decision to make myself, and that is to drop a game. I can’t play SCV and KOFXIII, while playing this. So one of those are going on the back burner…
as far as gameplay goes…Gems are important, however its not something that you have to over think. like what i said in my eventhubs post, it isn’t rocket science…you should be able to figure it out yourself and i gave a whole bunch of different examples in easy ways for one to fine set ups that suit them.
in the talks about Team Synergy, personally…I’ll run a heavy hitter as my reserve character, but that’s just me. I had some good universal critical thinking, in terms of building a team based off your desired playstyle.
Since poison has a fast dash and good footsie tools i think a speed gem would give her a great advantage in her matches.
I’m saying this because
1.Speed gems build meter when you dash.
2. Her Dash is really quick. She can dash 3 times and get to an opponent while they are jumping or close the game after a fireball. (A lot a meter can be built from that.)
3.Can give you some of the same effects of an onslaught gem.
4. Helps her ground game.
5.Alters her jump in a little.
I’m thinking about the fortitude gem or a power gem.
Meter+counters+more ex moves+more supers= more damage overall for both chars in the long run.
I was really thinking about this gem because of how it worked.
You know, after watching the Kuma video, I’m wondering if a Poison/Kuma team might not be such a bad idea even though Kuma’s either gonna require a lot of work or he has potential no one’s found yet.

Edit: Oh, also, I’ve only noticed one post-fight comment in the game that seems like it could relate to Poison’s gender status, and even then there’s no certainty that this is related (though it totally could be if you think about it).
