I’ve always hated when ppl say ‘taking millions of tax payer money’. They ain’t taking millions from me because I don’t have millions. The nation’s complete amount is not my complete amount nor is it anyone elses. If anything, I would be worried about ‘my money’ paying for officers when everytime I’ve ever need them (which is not that many during my lifespan), they never did anything for me and now are shooting ‘my kind’ up again. The difference is back in the day guns actually meant shit and you could have physical currency. Now you don’t own shit. If even 20-30% of the population stood up and planned a smart revolt, the government would have no choice but to stand down. Image ~30 million people with guns versus the ~500k military soldiers with crazy death machines. Even if the revolt didn’t work, and the military soldiers didn’t stand down (they are humans too and they aren’t brainwashed like Nazi soldiers, so I could see the majority of them siding with the civilians who just want their country to be good again.) Most of America would be destroyed, effectively ending the reign of U.S. being the big superpower. The country would be so fucked that the debt would be insane. Either way, America would be forced to change.

The one main problem about this is that quite a few innocent civilian “soldiers” would die for a greater causes. It’s exactly what villaged,/countries/empires have been doing since the beginninh of time. If the leader(s) were shitty, the civilians and/or defected doldietd would just kill the nigga and a new leader would be appointed.

Wrong wrong wrong. Most people are trained to follow authority. Nazis weren’t nazis because they all started out believing in Hitler and his message. They were so because down the chain people were far more likely to just follow orders. They’ve done actual experiments on this to prove it. Most people are going to just follow orders.

If you’ve ever been around military, either in it or know people that are or were in it, you would know how gung ho the vast majority are. And yes you get brainwashed in training too. Most people in the military HATE American citizens and are well trained to instead (not really realizing it) protect the Corporate entities and do their dirty work.

Now the Constitution was written so exactly what you said should happen. But look at how quick people are to give up guns and demand everyone else give them up. Liberal mentality is to not have guns and for “gun control.” Everytime there is a shooting liberals (backed by the current power structure) insist nobody should be allowed to have a gun. And what way do most young people lean? Left. So if the youngest groups refuse to arm themselves and fight back, how can anything happen?

Revolutions have historically been driven by disenfranchised young men. But these days the young men just want to chase pussy, play Xbox, and get all their news and ideas from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Forget it man, there is no revolution happening, no resistance whatsoever.

The spark of democracy and the backbone of the free thinker does not exist in the young in this country, and the old have had it stamped out of them with a lifetime of getting beaten down. They’re also too damn old to do anything.

I will give you this @Shin Akuma -On the cusp of the new millennium, the American media was celebrating the 2+ trillion dollar surplus (with partisan credit divided between Clinton and Reagan). I remember it quite well, and then around 2001, people seemed to have completely forgotten that it had ever existed. It was so weird to me, around the time the surplus was announced I actually felt the nation was going to see a huge turnaround, and then in 2002 and subsequently thereon, when I talked to people about how the nation flipped into a deficit and why the surplus disappeared so suddenly, everyone assumes it all went towards the war; because they really can’t grasp just how much over 2,000+ billion dollars really is.
