As far as I can tell

LS-32: For People want something close to the JLF but different (Pepsi Vs Coke)
LS-40: For People who are recreating Neo Geo Cabs
LS-56: For People who like mad stiff sticks

Personally my favorite is the LS-33 with a 55 spring.

I have both a LS-56 stock and LS-33 with 55 spring. The 33 is perfect for shmups.

I like the LS-40 and the LS-58. The 40 I played on for over a year, it’s a good stick, but I feel the off center switches aren’t as nice as the centered switch design of the LS-58.
