slayer can’t do the sx4 (it was never 6) combo anymore unless the opponent is crouching because they increased the recovery on far slash.
evo06 should ban every1 except robo,holy,and zappa
SRK should ban evilmuffinmanX
You could do Sx6 on certain crouching characters.
well, the more i know i guess… D:
was it like pot, ky and rk?
I’ve seen it on May and Zappa as well, IIRC. But it’s #R who cares.
Also parabolic scythe is hot, you’re a cheater who hasn’t mastered all moves if you’re not using it ;(
You can actually get a sx6 on any opponent in #R as long as they were crouching.
But yeah, it was #R, who gives a shit!!
oh shit. Just saw a vid, but can Slayer do SS mach punch c.K mach punch? or does the first mach punch have to be close? That’s just as good if not better. I also saw 6[K] (overhead) pilepunker. That’s a sick combo.
Was probably more along the lines of H XX Mappa Feint, 2K XX Mappa.
6[K] is the feint lol. 6K has enough advantage to link c.S off it (only on crouch?) but Pilebunker? Not without hits in between… Unless you’re mistaking his 6H as a 6K, since 6H XX Pilebunker does combo.
he probably meant 6h, since the move animation does have slayer moving forward with a ankle drop.
I’m pretty sure it was mach punch 2K mach punch. Maybe it was CH only though.
The latter combo was definitely 6H or H pilebunker.

It was counter hit K Mappa, 2K XX Mappa.
Yeah 6H XX Pilebanger is great. That combo was seriously all Slayer needed to go from a gimmick character with high damage to a GOOD character with high damage. Easy as hell against airborne opponents (like when he hits low to ground CH jK, land 6H XX Pilebanger) and fairly easy on crouchers.
On standing opponents it’s a bit harder but nowhere near as hard as it was in XX.
The title of the thread was which version of guilty gear to “buy.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but the impression I’ve gotten from this thread is that Slash isn’t available for any console (in the US?). Are there any arcade perfect versions of Guilty Gear out there? If not, which version should you buy for fun, some practice, or whatever?
