SF4 would remain the most popular I bet. And maybe the community would start doing regular mods to it, so it could actually get better.

a modern reboot of TMNT Tournament Fighters.

the universe is very appealing for such a game and would be a nice change of pace from all those failed TMNT brawlers

I donā€™t see Capcom making KoF and it taking the place of MvC and SF which they donā€™t support anymore, because they went bankrupt.

I mean, you guys donā€™t even know what a CvS is. And King of Fighters + Capcom (+ Alpha!) sounds kinda too much.
