E.Ryus fireball isnt terrible. Its a solid fireball compared to some of the cast. Its just not as good as regular Ryu

i dont know if im remembering this wrong but im pretty sure the recovery on that fireball is pretty crazy, either way. I’ve never been kept out by either of them.

the recovery on e.ryu’s fireball is the same as ryu

As a Rufus main, I’m surprised by the lack of Rufus hate. I thought someone would complain about landing an Ultra in 1 million ways.

Juri hate? Really? Aesthetically I can understand, but from a gameplay perspective, she doesn’t really have much bs.

Unless gief has a move that lowers his hurboxes or moves him forward enough that will just get him hit considering both those moves have to be blocked high. PPP lariat can work sometimes, cr.hk moves him forward enough if timed well to get stomp to whiff I believe, ex green hand if timed right blows up devils reverse.

As far as I remember, you can block low on Devil’s reverse, but that was besides the point, it’s better to crouch to wait until your opponent is in Lariat range instead of trying to use the Lariat at the exact second it would hit. If for some reason the stomp catches gief off guard then yeah, he should block high.

well then it starts longer, w/e i just know once he starts it, it takes awhile for him to get safe again. Hense why you don’t see them spamming it like ryus.

you are right, wow mind blown… when ever i see it used it seems like the recovery sucks, even lefthandedmonkey said his fireball was worse then ryus…

It just deals less damage is all. Frame data should be same as calm Ryu’s.

Blanka…fucking Blanka. He can rot in hell. He gives me the most problems. I hate that he was made. I am the Hulk when I lose to him. For me it’s the difficulty to try to attack him in the inside, his cross up is a havoc.

Its probably more that his game is less about zoning and more about getting up close

For which he doesn’t have the tools. For zoning, he has Ryu fireballs backed up by Ryu-ish Shoryukens, decent buttons and Shakunetsu. Oh, go in if you get an opening, by all means, bugger hits like a truck. But I’d say that playing him hellbent on getting in is doing it wrong.

If Seth is attacking you, he doesn’t know the match-up or he sucks, Seth vs Gief is the worst match-up for Gief in the game, with Sagat you can make him bleed if you get a hard KD, with Seth you don’t even get that, Seth can absolutely dominate the match without going in even once.

1.-Blanka’s electricity can be SPD’d, EX 360+K’d, EX GH’d, cr.LK’d or sweeped with the right distance, if they keep using it on wakeup then do an empty jump crossing him up to make think you’ll attack and grab him, Blanka players that use electricity a lot usually become really predictable, don’t worry.
2.-Hawk is considered bottom 5, the match-up against Gief is in Hawk’s favor, but once you get a lead Hawk really has to work to break in since he also has to fear Gief’s SPD, it’s really that bad. Be patient.
3.- Dhalsim can get annoying, but as Hawk, once you get the lead then Dhalsim will be having a hell of a time, don’t jump a lot and work your way through the ground, you can KKK Lariat Dhalsim’s st.HP if you predict it, Guile is as tough as Sim unless you’re playing Dieminion, try to get meter as fast as you can and the match will become easier for you.
4.-Bison is annoying, but be patient, don’t jump if he has meter, be ready to catch psycho crushers with a KKK Lariat, or to trade with scissor kicks using your st.MP, crouch if you are expectinga stomp or devil’s reverse and use PPP Lariat, EX GH or Siberian Blizzard (if you are bold enough) to punish or trade with him, block high if you are not. cr.LP is your best bet to beat Bison’s st.HK.

I’m really surprised that you hate these characters instead of Seth, Sagat and Akuma, you don’t normally hear those opinions, meh.

I hate to play vs those 4 with all characters. I even like the Gief mirror more lol.

i dont like akuma, sure hes hard at good lvl’s but people at my lvl just flow chart and get free mixups.
