Which 3DO has no burn protection?

Any off the shelf PC (completely non-modded) with the same emulation can do the exact same thing, usualy better. Just Saying.

Dunno what this has to do with the discussion at hand.

The PS1 comment was based on the fact that at the time, anyone who wanted VCD playback with their console was better served by a PS1 than a 3DO.

The Real 3DO had multiple manufacturers so the console it self had multiple, multiple versions.

Panasonic FZ1 Launch version

Panasonic FZ10

Goldstar (merge with Sanyo to be LG Corp)

Sanyo (merge with Goldstar to be LG Corp)

Panasonic Robo (5 Disc changer 3DO)

Creative Sound Blaster 3DO ISA card for Windows PC (not a emulator)

Panasonic Arcade stick

The Real the 3DO’s Price at US$699 at launch (So shut up about the PS4 and Xbone system costs)

On topic, as far as I know they all run burned games, just some of them are pickier about CD-Rs than others. The goldstar I can say from personal experience doesn’t like shitty discs or burns very much.

I agree with this, but there’s a better way to play SC2 these days! For anyone who’d like to get another crack at this game, the “Ur-Quan Masters” project attempted to basically make a best version of SC2 using a mix of 3DO and PC benefits. Check it out: http://sc2.sourceforge.net/

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon arcade game is the best. Worth the $150+ it goes for. Guy who did art for a bunch of Cave shmups worked on it, Junya Inoue. One of my fave game artists.

Fair points but the OP only mentioned wanting ST as a reason for even asking about a 3DO.

I only just realised how old this thread is.

Anyway obviously a PC is better, but a modded Xbox1 (not Xbone) will be your friend if you like fighting games.
