I used to use George for special variants from HeroFix via eBay auctions all the time and I never had a problem, I always got speedy replies and quick deliveries. I did business with him on no less than ten occassions. I’ve heard a lot of bad reports on HeroFix around here lately though, I wonder what’s up with him?
www.mycomicshop.com has the most comprehensive comic selection that I know of, although a quick browse through the SF section shows that a few various are out of stock.
hrm wow… herofix still hasn’t gotten back on their feet eh? I remember months ago someone mentioned that George was going through some personal problems and that he wasn’t even in town for a long while. He’s a nice guy to deal with if you can get communication with him however it seems to me that he pretty much hasn’t updated the SF section like he said he would for a couple months. He said he was gonna get a hold of a copy of the Rose foil cover since the one i got off ebay had creases on the binding edge and wasn’t really mint. I think I give up collecting these since shipping comics from the states is really risky b/c lotta the post office staff don’t like to satisfy the “do not bend” request stamps and labels on the package. my original plan was to get every single mint foil cover and mount them on my wall as backdrops for the corresponding SOTA figure… guess that’s not going to happen… pity, i’m happy that sagat was on one of the foil covers i own.
Hello Everyone,
I would like to personally address some of the issues listed here.
We here at RuppsWorld.com try to provide all Capcom & Udon fans with the best selection and stock of Street Fighter and related items. As to price of issues, the price is determined by what an item cost to replace. As you all probably know from the message boards Street Fighter books are not carried by everyone, thus the print runs are not at a level that keep the books in stock for a long peroid of time. Once RW.com sells out of the their original inventory, and it is no longer available from the distributor I have to go out and find it from other people thus paying more than the original cost. Thus prices for those respective issues are higher, depending on how good of a deal that I can get on the new stock. One of the biggest problems is just trying to keep the items in stock, at times I am only able to find a few copies here and there. I am sorry for the cost, but if we do not price accordingly to what our cost is, the only other choice is to not to try and restock the items and leave them at sold out/out of stock.
With the release of SF II we ordered more than 500 copies of issue zero, and listed it’s price at .99, 50% off of the retail price. We are now stocking large quanities of all issues of new Udon comic, hopefully ensuring a long term listing at retail.
Also all of our newsletter customers recieved an email from RuppsWorld.com in early December offering a 15% discount code for the Holiday Season. This is expiring today, discount code: HOLIDAY. All you need to do is sign up and we offer specials all throughout the year through the newsletter.
Packageing is something that we take great pride in, all our packages are double-boxed, everything is bagged and board and bagged again. This is something that we try to do to ensure that the package arrives to you in the way you want.
As to shipping, we charge what is costs to ship through our shippers. In the US we use UPS, fully insured, trackable, and there in less than five days. Outside the US we use USPS Global Express, fully insured, trackable and there in the quickest way possible. Delays are usually the result of respective countries Customs Agents.
I hope some fans on the board can stand up for us and at least share their experiences with RuppsWorld.com. And if anyone ever has any questions feel free to contact me anytime.
Happy Holidays to all.
Thanks
Chris

Thanks. I’ve never been to Richmond. Should be a good excuse to go. Unless- anyone know if Dr. Comics & Mr. Games in Oakland has 'em?
Guys, my theory is, if you’re looking for the SFII comic books, look for a place where theres Street Fighter PLAYERS who still play SF, and then check around that area for a comic book store, and see if they have.
And you can always try asking the store owner/manager to order some.
If you have a Borders or Walden books store , you can usually ask to special order a Trade Paper Back. Barnes and Noble is excellent too.
That’s how I got mine.
I would like to know where I can purchase Deadpool comics. I’d really appretiate it if it was from the first issue from 1997 and after, or at least as much of his comic issues as possible.
It’d be best if I can purchase them online since I don’t live in the USA and it would be great if it were on Amazon so that way I can ask a bookshop to purchase it for me.
I kind of think you’ll have better luck asking in the Marvel thread…
.
Ask them what they have available I guess?
They have a website too.
