When is the next STREET FIGHTER or CAPCOM related comic coming out?

Today’s haul. Since only 2 Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite variant covers came out I tossed in two of the Street Fighter vs. Darkstalkers covers and Monster Hunter Flash Hunter vol. 9 in the picture since it’s all Capcom related anyway lol!

Next week’s Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite variants will be Doctor Strange #24, Generations Unworthy Thor & Mighty Thor #1 and I Am Groot #4!

I enjoyed SF v. Darkstalkers #4. Good issue. Butyou know me, I wish for more Chun-Li spotlight. I’m excited for the next issue. I can’t believe we’re halfway done already.

Three more Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite variants next week and they are DONE SON!

Street Fighter Universe Ultra Jam poster is up for sale!

They’ve exchanged Ingrid for Ed. That’s good. But now I need at least one high resolution of the jam poster…

Only three more to go!

Street Fighter vs. Darkstalkers #5 hits comic book stores next week!

Special one time mention. Udon is also dropping the first volume of the Infini-T Force manga for any Tatsunoko vs. Capcom fans out there!

The Dragon’s Dogma manga well end on October 7. Still no word on an English release but I’m fine with this one staying in Japan.

A double dose of upcoming releases from Udon!!!

The first are previews from SF v. Darkstalkers #5.

A Darkstalker hunter faces a raging demon, as Donovan Baine finds himself square in the path of the master of the fist – Akuma! The crossover chaos continues in STREET FIGHTER VS DARKSTALKERS!

The second are covers for SF v. Darkstalkers #7 & #8

The gloves are off as the champions of two worlds all come head to head and fist to fist! This maelstrom of monsters and martial artists will shake the universe to its core, in a fight for existence! It’s the penultimate chapter of STREET FIGHTER VS DARKSTALKERS!

The frighteningly furious fighting game crossover comes to its chaotic conclusion! The demonic Jedah’s master plan threatens not only the World Warriors and the Night Warriors, but the universe itself! It’s the final chapter of STREET FIGHTER VS DARKSTALKERS!

Can’t believe that the end to this is almost near. I’m very excited to see how this story turns out. But with the end of one story comes the start of another new one. (SF Unimited 2 anyone?)

Rikuo and Laura! That’s awesome!

Last three Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite variant covers!

Studio Udon is re-releasing the Street Fighter comic as Street Fighter Reloaded!

http://www.udonentertainment.com/blog/news/announcing-street-fighter-reloaded

Before I get to my review of SF v. Darkstalkers #5, I just wanted to say that I’m not too excited about the rereleashing of the Street Fighter comic: Street Fighter Reloaded. I’m glad Udon is doing it, but I very much prefer original and new stories. I want to see the lives and journeys of my favorite Street Fighter Characters continue in new adventures and fights, rather than rereleasing old material. That’s why I was super hyped for SF Unlimited and SF v. Darkstalkers. And Speaking of which…

My review on SF v. Darkstalkers #5

[details=Spoiler]I just want to say… Best… Issue… EVER!!! (I can neither confirm nor deny that this opinion was more or less influenced from my undenying fanboy bias to Chun-Li, however it does get lots of brownie points for it.).

I absolutely LOVE how Chun-Li is the main focus of the issue for the main heroes of this story. It was great to see the flashback to Gen when she was a child. (Young Chun-Li looks SUPER CUTE!!!) But it was quite fascinating to see how they would meet up again. I had a feeling Gen would come back (hinted in previous issues), but they way they did it, so that Chun-Li could complete her training and learn of a way to escape the Majigen was executed well. I do feel that Chun-Li was a little too eager to want to learn the Forbidden Techniques/The Killing Intent. It felt a little too soon, and I think it would help more for her character development if she took some time to think about it until she realizes that it’s an absolute necessity. Chun-li had for years had used her martial techniques to fight and defend, but never to kill. I think it would’ve been better if we see Chun-li get pushed to that edge. (But then again, it might be a copycat Satsui no Hado plot like it was in SF Unlimited.) But I don’t know. That’s just me. I’m glad Chun-Li gets to be the driving force to the resolution of this whole entire story. But I wished for more development form her since she is such a beloved character. And I do believe the writers probably missed an opportunity with this, but with only 8 issues to tell this story (instead of a generous 12 from previous SF comics), I would understand.

Also, while I do love Chun-li’s classic qipao look, I am surely gonna miss her Battle alt dress. She was just so gorgeous in that. And it felt a little strange how she was not only to learn Gen’s final technique AND change clothes at the same time. Maybe something more combat ready? Who knows. Either way, she still looks good, and I can’t wait to see Chun-li kick more ass.

Okay, Chun-Li bias aside, maybe it wasn’t the best issue ever, but its one that has certainly got me hyped, geeking out, and more jumpy than all the other issues. We’re past the halfway point and things are starting to get intense. Only can go onwards and upwards from here.
Also, I enjoyed the Laura mini comic at the end.
Still enjoyable to read, and I’m looking forward to the next issue.[/details]

Yeah I’m not messing with SF Reloaded since I have the original comics. As usual I’ll mention whenever the issues come out if anyone is interested. It’s not like I have a ton of things to announce every month. Quick Marvel do a month of Monster Hunter Stories variant covers man give me something to do lol!

Slightly OT, but only slightly since the creator of Dragon’s Crown George Kamitani used to work for Capcom long ago. He worked on Capcom’s arcade Dungeons & Dragons games and even Street Fighter 1. Anyway, Udon is translating the Dragon’s Crown manga! I didn’t even know it had a manga. That’s dope!

More info on the upcoming Street Fighter prose novel!

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite comes out tomorrow! Capcom’s gonna kick all of Marvel’s asses infinitly awwww… Okay Maybe not Spider-Man. I like Spider-Man. He’ll decide to come on over to the Capcom side since last I checked Capcom’s Spider-Man is STILL MARRIED yup yup! AWWWWW LET ME DREAM FOR 24 HOURS! :stuck_out_tongue:

The Street Fighter Unlimited Vol. 3 Balance hardcover hits comic book stores next Wednesday!

The Street Fighter Legends Cammy Hardcover hits comic book stores next Wednesday!

The Monster Hunter Flash Hunter manga volume 10 hits stores next Wednesday too!

Oh I was at New York Comic Con when they announced that Ian Flynn from the Mega Man series and Archie’s Sonic comics will also write IDW’s new Sonic The Hedgehog comic too! Here’s hoping IDW gets a Mega Man comic also so Ian Flynn can continue writing that. Mainly so I have something else to announce and I wouldn’t have to use this space for rambling lol!

Personally I would love to see Ian Flynn tackle Mario and Zelda. Nintendo really needs to loosen the purse strings on their characters. At least all of the Zelda manga by Akira Himekawa are really good.

Street Fighter vs. Darkstalkers #6 hits comic book stores next Wednesday!

Udon’s also releasing a Street Fighter: Shadaloo Special #1

*This December evil takes center stage, as UDON presents the STREET FIGHTER: SHADALOO SPECIAL #1! This one-shot comic features four short stories, previously only available in UDON’s hardcover Street Fighter collections.

Previews for SF v. Darkstalkers #6 just released.

As Chun-Li and her allies search for a way to escape from the frightening Majigen dimension, Hsien-ko hunts down a feral World Warrior – the power-hungry Necalli! The crossover chaos continues in STREET FIGHTER VS DARKSTALKERS!

I’m super excited for this one. Chun-Li looks awesome. I can’t wait to read it.
