Well if that’s the case we might as well talk about Kung Fu master then.
No but seriously, make this thread about Dungeon and Dragons lol.

Am I the only one that thinks the game looks absolutely horrible? It’s like they stole the models from the QWOP game.
It doesn’t look that bad…doesn’t have nearly enough Neon though lol. I’m more concerned about the gameplay.
The Double Dragon 2 remake, now THAT looked bad.
Technos, the company that made Double Dragon, went bankrupt and belly up a decade ago. I wonder who owns the intellectual property.
It’s funny to see how Nishiyama is still in the business after all this time. I think all he knows how to do is be involved with fighting games. I guess the only way to get a real Double Dragon is to get Dimps and Plophet(founded by Yoshihisa Kishimoto) to work together on it. Not that I know if Plophet is even that kind of company. Dude might have started a used vaccuum company for all I know.

Kung Fu master had its time in the spotlight, but it was Double Dragon that really jump started the beat’em up genre.
Yeah so anyway, anyone ever read the STREETS OF RAGE comics written by Mark Millar?
A small company called Million

No seriously, this games looks horrid.
Jumping air splits? Come on.
Well sir, it’s because Super Double Dragon(Return of Double Dragon?) and Double Dragon+Battletoads are way better than any SoR game.

actually Atlus owns it, and they own Million. Creepy name for a company…
Double Dragon VI - Fap Worthy Newscasters Revenge?
and the original company was Tecmo
Actually, Target: Renegade was the OG. Came out the year before DD if I recall, but wasn’t as badass
Drugs make you say some dumb things…
eeewk, is that supposed to be a DD game?, give me a break wayforward.
Drugs make people say great things. See the music industry in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
Super Double Dragon and Battletoads and Double Dragon have way better gameplay than any SoR game, have way more gameplay options and overall cooler character designs. The music is even better. Yes, that’s right, those two games I mentioned have some of my favorite music out of any game I’ve played on the SNES and Genesis.

SHIT GETS ME HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!
All themes are form the SNES versions of the games, because SNES versions of multiplats back then had better music 99.9% of the time. If you want to dispute that fact, then you’re fucking deaf.
I don’t think the air-split kick thingy is the standard jump kick in this game, more like something for when they’re idle and need to hit approaching enemies from both sides. Probably have their own jump kick.
The game looks alright, can’t say if I’ll buy it yet but i definitely look forward to the demo…but theres not enough NEON damnit!! I want more flashy lighty things in the background. Streetlights or something.
The overall graphical look needs a brighter, more vibrant look to it as well.
Oh and why the hell does billy have a simile face on the back of his jacket?
I disagree good sir. SOR series was badass.
At the very least any SOR title beats the crap out of ANY version of DD3.
Technos actually, though i don’t blame ya for confusing the two.
Which is why i made mention of Renegade in my post.
I strongly disagree, Sir Arthur. I find all of the things you can do in DD3 compared to any SoR game to be way more fun. In SoR2, you can punch, kick, throw(I think, I forget) jump and on top of that you have 1-3 specials or so, one of which that takes health. That’s it for the combat. In DD3, you can punch, kick, jump, block, throw, counter moves(parry), divekick, off the walls(jump against a wall then jump off it into any move you want), charge moves, hurricane kick and some other specials. I find the game way more fun than any SoR, and I even like the little things more than SoR other than the combat that I mentioned already like the music and character design. Weapons you pick up like the nunchucks shit on any item you can pick up and use as a weapon in any SoR game.
Overall, I just find DD3 more fun than the SoR games and a big reason for that is because of the shitload of different gameplay options you have in comparison to SoR.
Double Dragon has some awesome ass music, but it doesn’t be Streets of Rage music in my opinion.
Also, I don’t know about Double Dragon having better gameplay. In Streets of Rage, you had all sorts of different throws, jump attacks, back attacks, dash attacks, special attacks. I don’t recall much of that in Double Dragon except in the SNES game where you can charge your character with steroids until he walks around like the hulk and knocks people down with one punch. I miss the mechanic.
Parry attack was cool too. Forgot about that.
Graphics are ass but STFU it’s WF making a DD game you really couldn’t ask for a better pairing.
