I am an idiot for jumping around as much as I do. it’s a bad habit I’m trying to cut out. if you see me not blocking a ton it’s probably me trying to parry my way out of situations and failing badly. another bad habit of mine. I’ve never claimed to be any good or to make sound decisions, haha.
anyway we never disagreed on the nature of the matches. “it’s crazy, enjoy it for what it is” sounds right to me. I just think of you when I think of matches my connection lags badly with. you’re not the worst for me though. there’s a guy from Australia and our matches literally run at half speed the entire time. I’m surprised he still hits ready when he sees my name.

The all time worst for me though Is Apple, it’s literally 1 frame per 2 seconds… Against Chun-Li! I’ve played a few japanese people who I have less connectivity issues with.
When it comes to a real match, I do try to give it my all. But it’s often hampered by the fact that I’ve just beaten my last 30 opponents without any kind of tactical thinking at all, alas, I’m not entirely focused. And that replay you posted is pretty old, I think it’s from my first month or two of playing. I’ve only played 3S seriously since it’s release on XBLA so I admit, there was a plentiful supply of random tatsu’s, purely because I didn’t know any better.
Lets hope we can bump in to each other for more random lag fights, should we do a first to ten set? Haha!
yup it’s Jiendo. I feel like he and I had one playable match a long time ago, and it has not been good since then.
yeah I know what you mean re: the replay. mine are basically the same. as you go back in time with my replays you find more and more boneheaded decisions or silly stuff going on. there was a period of time where I just never stopped pushing buttons with Elena. constant random EX moves, mixups, no blocking, and yeah I just didn’t know any better. I posted a replay of me against kefkaggpo and asked for advice, and a couple people were like “stop doing so much stuff.” I’ve been improving since then but I still do some dumb shit sometimes.
for sure I’m always up for more games. I don’t play as much in ranked these days but next time I see you there I’ll shoot you a friend request.
Japan only exists in the movies. that’s how I see it. At least until I go to Japan. Otherwise, I’m always going to be staring up, and as I improve, I won’t keep looking up. I’ll only be looking as high as the Japanese go, and I can tell that they are better, but not unstoppable.

I’m just discovering the greatness of Ibuki’s standing mk… That shit is Alex’s close Mk but better, sexier, and murders a lot of shit. I’m not surprised she was thought of highly when the game 1st came out.
EDIT: I find her side hip as, if not more, attractive than side boob. No idea why.
