heh heh. That guy I mentioned earlier plays a crazy Servbot with Tron bonne. Hes better than Roll, but not Dan. They call him "SERV"bot for a reason. Dont get served by this little guy. He’s the shit. 
Anyway since this thread isnt’ about MvC2, I’d like say that I have trouble with this Maki who relys on running away alot with that backwards run shit. Then he does a bunch of little mixups that piss me the hell off. I dont know shit about Maki so WTF should I do. Does anybody out there play any Maki players.
i use maki and most maki players i know don’t really run away. she’s a mix up character imo. and btw, maki is really, really good. lots of good matchups.
i use the run back command a lot, but it’s usually to hop on the wall(for dp baiting purposes) or to jump foward. i dont’ really use it much for a runaway game. if the guy you’re playing agianst abuses s.fwd, don’t try to go head to head with that shit. best chance against maki is do early j.rh with characters like sagat, rock, blanka, cuz she can’t really do anything against it other than her KKK move. however if you do deep j.rh, she’ll probably hit you out of the air beforehand.
the characters maki has trouble with most,imo, are yamazaki and sagat, and of course TEAM BAS(if the team bas player doesn’t do random activates and plays smart the whole match)
also, maki doesn’t really dish out much damage unless she lands her kick super or 720. so when she doesn’t have bar, try to get as much traded hits, random pokes, etc, etc in. i dunno what else to say cuz most of the time maki has even matches with most characters.
i think maki does too much damage. her grabs are annoying and she can combo into super very easily. that’s one of the reasons i like her so much.
