Series finale prediction
Riley: “Nigga you… LBGT”
I need dat instrumental from the fight, tho…
Actually it was “Sure Robert, all you had to do was ask, I don’t even know you i’m just a clone”
This episode had a lot of laughs for me, but that line fucking destroyed me, it was so perfect.
Good episode.
I want a GIF of that Tiger Knee though, and that Stinkmeaner “HOPE” looking shirt.
This was a decent episode. I liked when Stinkmeaner got hit against the ropes and said “God Damn Robert!” LMAO!!!
the oppsite of a nigga moment is Mr. Rogers, he died for our sins
I want that stinkmeaner shirt too, ill have to get it custom made
It was alright.
The writing was showing thru that its just repeating better episodes.
Huey’s “Think about it” and immediately he knows. Not the whole Ghostface solution breakthrough. Needing to find what to do and what not to be for the rising action and climax of the story. But they knew that was a major line before, and used that theme again, just not as good as before. Then yeah of course there’s a looking like mister rogers guy. Who barely looked or sounded like mr. rogers. But that’s important why he never showed up again. Keep it in mind.
“If I looked up bitch nigga there would be a picture of you!” Good line.
But, Look up where? They already threw stuff in your face, streams, the computer again, it went “viral” which wasn’t funny, just there to say the show is modern, and up on things.
I’m not going to give these new writers the credit for that. Like Riley wouldn’t care about dictionaries. He would know about urbandictionary for slang
encyclopedia, ‘on the innanet,’ urbandictionary. They didn’t use a single place. It came and went, quick line recorded, scene changed fast didn’t need to make it fit riley’s mouth movements as animated to shorten it or anything, here came the elbow, why not let him go until he gets hit. Putting on the stinkmeaner mask was funny, but why did he do that again?
Also, what was different about this stinkmeaner, being “even better” from the start of the episode? He didn’t get one hit in during the in ring fight. So no lines out of Grandpa to throw back at him, for example: “you was talking all that good shit before, but now lookatcha’ (nyikkah)” Grandpa didn’t say anything during the fight, while beating him down, kinda anti-climactic.
Not a plot point, plot hole too much on what made Stinkmeaner better than before and his previous appearances, but still something they left on the table and never got back to. He did seem unstoppable vs pre-training Grandpa. Grandpa turning into being more like Stinkmeaner with the hate and going blind, getting in other people’s faces, sounding like Stinkmeaner did but didn’t carry that into the fight, to berate him - and spit good lines to taunt the crap out of him while beating him down, the way Stinkmeaner himself does it. At least call Stinkmeaner crazy and tell him to get over it and stop being hell bent on this from beyond the grave, not just leave him alone. bcuz that wasn’t even the end of it
Clone Stinkmeaner, and why was the biggest plot hole. His song for himself was okay, necessary to end the episode, but why was he even there? He just said he wouldn’t bother Robert, he doesn’t even know him. Wuncler is out of the picture, who probably had the illegal cloning place to make money off the fights and TV show covering it. But now he could do whatever he wanted, not being brought to the Freeman’s house under orders. And he didn’t say he’ll bother Robert for as long as he lives, right? Just that he’ll be around. Not a big stinger there either.
Darth Vader mask Stinkmeaner was pretty good, and to show Robert who he could turn into with the hate, but it didn’t make a difference or come back around to it. “I turned into him? But I hate that guy” or something, rather than just snapping out of it and going from blurry to his old eyesight looking at people ringside. With no dialogue. Crowd booing him at that point and looking disgusted.
TV show parody names were pretty good though.
I do like the show but it used to be much better.
PS: yeah just got it, at least 1 better way. He could have saw a Mr rogers sweater in the crowd. Since looking at anyone else shouldn’t stop him, no matter how much they didn’t like what he was doing.
[details=Spoiler]Robert just changed his mind by Huey running in there to tell him not to. He already knew the answer to not have a “Nigga moment” but didn’t come to that conclusion by himself without help and someone running inbetween his weapon-like he’s gonna just kill this guy. Recognizing what he’s doing, and figuring it out on his own conviction - remembering what huey said, flashback to him acting like stinkmeaner to a mr rodgers while parking his car)
Anything like that, “oh my god I turned into Stinkmeaner myself! How did I let this happen, boy why didn’t you tell me earlier!”
fck wrote too much, talking about a bunch of scenes at length will do that.
Its just one criticism, then thinking why didn’t Robert talk trash during the fight - Stinkmeaner getting beat up did all the talking
and I should watch the episode again - see if there was more than I remember and to answer my own questions.
Man I must be jaded from the rest of the season because besides the fights and some lines here and there it was just ok.
I really wanted to like this one, I just wasn’t feeling it anywhere near as much as the other Stinkmeaners. Didn’t have as much laugh out last moments as the first 2, not really an oh shit moment like the 3rd.
I did laugh at Stinkmeaner interrupting their meal at the end of the ep though.
Like WTF states this season just feels like a rehash of earlier seasons.
^Agreed
They should have cloned Bushido Brown
I did do a spit take when Robert told Stinkmeaner leave him alone, and he replied, why didn’t you just say so, I don’t even know who you are, pretty much sums up a nigga moment
You know what this is, it’s that the show is so good that people get withdrawals if it isn’t up to par.
“Need…Boondocks…done RIGHT!”
^How most of us feel after an iffy episode. This season has been mixed, but a fair amount of it has been absolutely golden.
For example, shoutouts to Ruckus riding on the fire truck(as the mayor? LOL), that entire episode(the one about hair products IIRC) was amazing. SO MANY quotables.
Already saw episode 10 on youtube (pitch changed to avoid copyright). It’s a pretty abrupt way to end the season if you ask me. If it’s ending on that note, then overall, this is probably the weakest season, but I still enjoyed it enough and honestly I don’t remember much from season 3 either. 1 and 2 were the heavy hitters for sure.
^ Watching now. A quote that basically summarizes this season:
[details=Spoiler]“It is why I would like to extend a sincere, heartfelt apology, to Riley Freeman, his grandfather…and the other one… I forget his name…”
That and the final shot of SAAAD.
The animation tho… This made me laugh so hard
[/details]
Damn…Nigga No Hadou Granddad was a beast! He was like a mashup of Akuma and Sagat. This ep had tons of funny one-liners. I give it a 4 out of 5. I don’t see this season doing anything to top it. I think it’s like Yamcha: a moment of badass, then all downhill from there.
Its not the last episode. There is a Riley focused episode next week
I think there are ten more episodes because I remember reading it s 20 episodes this season and they still haven’t introduced some characters yet
…he was talking about that episode, it’s on YouTube
Saw episode 10, much better had a few good laughs. We’ve definitely had too many Granddad episodes.
These past couple episodes that I’ve enjoyed have had less Ruckus too.
Ohhh I thought Stinkmeaner was episode 10 lol
But still I think its 20 episodes this season
Wiki still says there are only 10 eps
I don’t know what to believe anymore. Thanks to a returning character in next week’s ep, that leaked list of voice actors was more than half correct. It’s also a popular method nowadays to split half the season of shit this century (Breaking Bad gave me frantic withdrawals lol) so only time will tell
I actually liked this episode quite a bit. The animation and backgrounds were stellar, and Stinkmeaner definitely brought the stank back into The Boondocks.
The fight scenes were great, especially Sagat Grandad who even did the one arm head grab he’s famous for… and that TIGER KNEE!
Watching Stinkmeaner turn into a total bitch upon getting steamrolled was quite statisfying, but I get the feeling that the OG “Hell Ain’t Shieeeeet!” Stinkmeaner wouldn’t have submitted even if his limbs were ripped off a la Kevin from Sin City style:
I really wonder how many lines Cedric Yarborough ad-libbed because every time he spoke I was entertained. From the moment clone Stinkmeaner was logically questioning why he was already old as a clone I knew the episode was going to be going a good direction.
4/5 stars
saw episode 10, was ok as well
[details=Spoiler]retarded people are God’s clowns…-uncle ruckus, and riley with the “special abled? is that what they call the kids that ride the short bus? nigga…ninjas are special abled” and the large dude who was pretty much deebo “yall aint never got any strawberry milk” and riley getting stomped out was gold…
the ultimate sadness was Ceelo Green not voicing rollo, ceelo aint doing shit[/details]
ill post my overall synopsis and tier list later for this season
