I don’t think Stinkmeaner can save this season. It’s “meh”. There were a few highlights, but mostly average eps. The ironic thing is I think they could make a better season if given another chance. There were some choice bits in this season, and if they could tap into that stuff more often, we’d have a winner. As it stands right now though, this is not what you want for a final season.
I didn’t see the episode from last night but judging from the feedback, I probably did myself a favor. Something tells me “they” got rid of Aaron because he wasn’t a yes man and hired a writer who was.
“I’m getting an android BITCH!!”
“You got a white man’s phone? Well whoop de doo for you nigga!!!”
The only 2 lines that got a laugh out of me. Easily the worst episode of the season and bottom 3 out of all the seasons.
No way Siri was worst than Flizzy, Good Times and especially Kardashian. I thought the episode was running at a nice pace until the abrupt ending. Did we watch the same episode? Thought the George Lucas bit was bad. Also good to have Grandad spooked by an aggressive entity in non-monetary format before Stinkmeaner gets in dat ass next week.
I’d like to know specifically what y’all didn’t like about Siri. Y’all iOS users?!
“I didn’t know what ‘laughingstock’ meant …until now.”
I dont know where to begin so lets just agree to disagree…
Siri was ass just for the fact that an entire episode was made out of it, the wedding was a poor attempt to squeeze in all the characters one last time, it was just grandad being dumb again
before it was just grandad making bad desicions based on stubborn oldschool beliefs and principals and being set in his ways which works, now they are writing him as a clusterfuck
I only really liked the beginning when he was at apple because it reminds me of the older generation when they try to get this new technology.
I concur with @Autocrat1 the episode wasn’t shit and there were good moments, but nothing memorable.
I liked the fact that they managed to accidentally spoof the movie “Her” by sheer coincidence. Lol. Skynet Siri’s possessiveness made for decent comedy, but I kept wondering why the hell Grandad couldn’t just “accidentally” lose his charger?
For me, the Civil Rights Bus ep is the most memorable episode this season. I liked it so much I actually rewatched most of the scenes and saved it on my hd.
The problem is that this season is mostly about granddad and i dont care about him that much
what about riley and huey
wheres thugnificent, lethal interjection
cindy , jasmine what about adding caesar
this season could have so much potential but its hit or miss for me
that leak list of VA’s was bull, and I agree, way too much focus on grandad
I liked this ep.
Ain’t gonna let nobody turn me around
Felt like a blatant apple ad.
Yeh, I thought this was a Simpson’s Halloween special, except the Simpson’s Apple spoof was actually funny.
Siri was NOT the worst episode of the season. It is clearly Karsashian. Yall reaching
thought this episode was pretty damn good, was laughing all the way through it, grandad going ape shit in the apple store and especially Ruckus at the wedding
I dont think ill ever get used to how hardcore this guy is
Worst episode of the Boondocks ever, by far. The plot was beyond stupid, I don’t even know any iPhone users who even use Siri
At least the Kardashian episode had some booty bouncing going for it.
Once again Uncle Rukus saved the episode. The part with him as the Reverend of the wedding was hilarious.
‘If anyone is opposed to this nigga marrying his telephone, which should be everydody. Please speak now’.
I agree. In the past seasons, everyone had their good share of screen time. Hell, even Sarah in Season 1 receive enough for the audience to know who she is, along with knowing her character. However, to start discussing Season 4, Sarah was tripping this time around in my opinion, but aside from that, this season’s been very weak and lackluster. The ideas of the past episodes had potential but I feel Aaron is the only one who could bring out that potential. The slavery episode was the only one that did well, though it was probably only backed up by the action.
I believe what cost this season was the reveal of Stinkmeaner’s revival in the beginning. I understand it was to hype up the season and all, but considering that he’s a fan favorite that should’ve been a surprise. However, a part of me felt after his second comeback and the first appearance of the Hateocracy, they should’ve left Stinkmeaner alone, because I don’t know if he can save this season (maybe if they made it to be a surprise than using his comeback as a hype thing). I know the Hateocracy won’t come back because there aren’t any badass characters left to stand against them - Huey counts as a badass but he barely held his own, Bushido was killed off by a lucky shot (or decapitation) by one of the members, and Luna was on par with Bushido or even higher than both him and Huey, but she killed herself due to the toxic influence of her friend Nicole.
Now I wonder if they’ll bring in Nicole.

[/quote]The sad part?: Over 70% of Apple’s employees won’t get the reference. Moreso for the average person under 40.
Like many of you here, I also find this season to be very lackluster, even though it did have its moments.
Man, it’s just not the same without Aaron McGruder.
