So is there any way to play Garou MOTW if your ps2 system is not set up to play backups? There’s jap versions of the game online, but I don’t think it works on the US systems.

I’ve gotten some fighting games recently. I got the following a while ago: SD Hiryu no Ken Densetsu (N64), Fighter’s History (SNES), and Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai Another Road.
It took me a while to find SD Hiryu no Ken Densetsu, but I finally got it.
Some fighters that I’ll be search for in a while are: SD Hiryu no Ken (SNES), Toshinden Subaru (PS1), and Marvel vs Capcom (DC).
I’ve been hearing that Subaru is the best game in the Toshinden series. I played just a little bit via emu (before I deleted the rom like an idiot) and although it still has some problems since the first, it is better than the other games.

And I may have burned Garou
I’ve got a about a million 3D fighters as well, including every version of Tekken.
Lol at the idea of a “collection” of games. I didn’t collect anything since I was about 8. You realise music, movies and games are mass-produced to levels above demand, and won’t have any value, right? And unwrapped, mint copies?!?
I’d suggest just buying a game because you want to play it, and not for some reason of being a completist or filling up your shelf space.
