Help on CC setups

Ok I finally learned how to paint the fence. I use the buffer technique, now I know what your thinking “your not getting enough hits or damage for every rep”, But I try to do it slow so that I get 4 or 5 hits for every rep. Basically its like doing each dp motion seperately, but without going nuetral. I usually end up getting between 50 and 60 hits(including the last second super) and between 7000 and 9500 damage (depending on placement and setup). I just wanna know if these are correct numbers and am I doing anything wrong.

Also could you post your set ups? Mine’s are…

CORNERED
BnB, activate, S.Mp, Paint the fence then Super.
Damage=9280
Combo=59~60 hits

CORNERED
Activate, Sweep, S.Mp, Paint the fence then super.
Damage=8000~8100
Combo=51~54 hits

NOT CORNERED
Activate, Sweep, S.Hk, Hk Scissors kick, until corner, S.Mp, Paint the fence, then super.
Damage=7000~7500
Combo=40~50 hits

I have yet to come up with a good Anti-air set up, so if you have one post it. Right now I use jumping M.p,M.p, land, activate, super jump, H.k, H.k, until corner, S.Mp, Paint then super. It does good damage, but sometimes I miss when I get em’ in the corner.

If you have ANY advice on setups I’d love to hear it. Right now I suck at finding good setups so can you guys help me out here. :smiley:

you should always start your customs with c.mk or cr.short instead of starting them with a sweep

with bison all you need to know is c.lp,c.lp,st.lk,mk scissors,activate,st.lp and continue your custom

I mostly play C & P but I started playing A a little more with Bison and need help with PTF. I can do it xcept I cant do his heavy version each time I try the opponent gets pushed too far down by the attack and falls to the floor, I have been able to do it with his medium version.

Good AA starter:
[activate] s mp (close) xx dp + hp xx (first hit) scissors and stuff until corner.

There might need to be another hit after the first hit of the psycho banish, I don’t know.

The Togeki finals video has a Bison player that corner-kills someone for 80% damage or so & looks good doing so… Considering how easy his Custom Combos are to do, and this clip, it’s encouraging to attempt similar feats. K is nice too, tho.

Uhmmmm… 80% is average damage for Paint the fence. Thats about how much everybody’s Bison CC does. :rolleyes:
